Best boba in Victoria! Salty Oreo cake box is a plus. Service is amazing! Def recommend this place if you are a boba lover visiting the island

Tried Soya Milk Tea with no ice. It's surprisingly good. If you like your milk tea non watery, then do no ice. There's soy pudding and agar boba in it.

I'm Taiwanese and I'd say this Taiwanese dessert place is legit! Both times I've been in, the staff has been so helpful and friendly. I got the taro grass jelly, and it reminded me of Taipei which is awesome because I can't travel due to the pandemic! All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The decor inside is lovely. I will be back! Note that you can let the dessert sit for a bit in the fridge to let all the sugary flavours soak in before eating it. The large size is huge so I ate it in two sittings.

Really hope this stays open! The only place in Victoria we've found that has Taiwanese grass jelly bowls & egg bubble waffles. Tried the strawberry parfait and found it to be better quality AND cheaper compared to the overrated parfaits at Perverted Ice Cream. Also tried the taro purple rice milk, which was a little light on the taro but overall not bad. Lastly, a nice & bright place to sit down with a friend!

They not only drink like usual, other Asian places sell Asian sweet treats but they have food (desserts) and savoury food too, like Sushi, ramen, etc

Amazing tea!! This cute little shop is not your typical boba tea shop. They pride themselves in making everything fresh and made to order. Sure, it takes a second but totally worth the wait! We ordered a tiramisu egg waffle - well balanced, nicely decorated, and the batter was mixed after we ordered so it was fluffy with great texture. We paired it with the shining star at this shop - a cup of brewed lychee oolong iced tea! I ordered it with no sugar to get the true flavor of the tea and it was incredible!

    Strawberry Soufflé Cake?

I was not a big fan of the coconut jelly dessert, and the jasmine tea was very concentrated (it's not sweet in case that's what you're looking for!) The Japanese souffle cake was not bad, but I couldn't eat too much of it because I'm not a big fan of whipped cream. If you enjoy light airy cakes and whipped cream, then you should definitely try the souffle cake! We were greedy and ordered a bunch of items, and they give you a free small coconut jelly (you can even mix the flavors on this one, so we got a combination of honey dew and strawberry) if you order more than I believe $25 in total.

Not to mention that they use cups that are labeled with Yi Fang Fruit tea branding. Very strange. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon for boba. Ordering is easy thank to a kiosk right in front. It's also helpful since the surly bobarista seems like she wants to be anywhere but in the store. Menu-wise, there are some similarities between Xing Fu Tang and YiFang menu, mostly focusing on the brown sugar milks and fruit rather than milk teas. Xing Fu Tang is a usually higher quality in fresh milk drinks, while YiFang is usually a bit better in fruity teas, but standards vary between stores. Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea, 50% Sugar ($7.99) - Before shaking, the drink tastes heavily of the brown sugar surfacing the outer rim of the cup, albeit much weaker than a typical Xing Fu Tang. After mixing, the flavor dissipates a bit into a somewhat creamy and malty tea flavor. It's not especially strong, but it's definitely identifiable in the mostly milky drink. Ice levels can't be adjusted, but also aren't too bad for the drink, at least compared to my expectations. The sweetness level, typically very high compared to other boba shops at other locations I've visited, isn't too bad either at 50% sweet here. It's not the highest quality milk tea for certain, but it hits the spot for a milk tea craving. The boba served at this boba shop is excellent. It's definitely not homemade and is clearly a commercial boba given the texture, but it's cooked until pretty much the perfect bouncy and chewy texture. It's clearly soaked in brown sugar, marinated for a long time, giving a deep sweet richness to the pearls. Milk Tea Rating: 3.5/5 Boba Rating: 5/5 This store is definitely more YiFang than Xing Fu Tang. My guess is that they are using the old signage to drive interest and sales considering that Xing Fu Tang is a slightly higher tier brand. I consider that a deceptive and unethical business practice, which automatically gets a 1* rating regardless of the actual quality of the food or drinks. Washrooms - None

They have a lot of different drinks to choose from and while they have a symbol on the menu to represent drinks that can be made hot, a symbol to let people know which drinks are or can be made caffeine free would be nice. We did get good recommendations on what to get by the nice person at the counter though for non-caffeinated beverages. You can order a la carte or get the special which includes a bubble tea and a choice of hot dog. We opted for the combo and I tried out the house milk tea with boba/tapioca. I requested it at 25% sweetness which was just right for me when combined with the syrupy boba. I loved that they use more sustainable packaging such as paper cups and straws. The heat sealed lids on top of the cups make for a better drinking experience since it's harder for you to spill your drink. The hot dogs were equally tasty. The toppings on our dogs were plentiful, very pleasing to the eye, and I loved the Asian flavors such as kimchi and furikake on ours. The hot dogs themselves were cooked to perfection and perfectly plump with a nice bite to them. Service was super friendly from the employees. The only minor inconvenience is that there are no public restrooms available but luckily we were able to find a restroom at our next destination in the area.

Is it Partea or SH91? [Victoria BC]…read more I'm confused about the Yelp check-in page for this shop. The physical location is named SH91 but they have Partea sign on the window. I thought that it would be same dessert place as the SH91 on Yates Street which is now reportedly closed but this location only offered milk tea, fruit teas and smoothie. None of the flavors appealed to me but the guy working there suggested I should try the Watermelon slush. Mmkay, I wanted boba with the drink. The interior is small with one table. While he made my drink I observed the decor of the interior. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos but there's handwriting all over the wall. Maybe you could see from some of the pics others have posted. Some signatures, some drawings in different color Sharpies. Come to think of it even the one table inside has all kinds of handwritten things written on it. It didn't look appealing but that is their decor inside. After I got my drink we left immediately. FOOD Full Breakfast ($15.99) Three eggs your way, two bacon, two sausage, one ham, two slices of toast, and your choice of hash browns or grilled tomato are included - good for one person or perhaps one person with a lighter appetite sharing with a small child. Western Omelette ($13.49) Ham, bell peppers, and onions mix in with the eggs along with hash browns and two slices of toast - it was decent! Note: toast comes with one packet of jam only - not sure if you can get more and/or peanut butter... Honeybuns ($2.49 each) It's a Chinese-style cocktail bun - it's a little small on the outside, but with plenty of sesame seeds on top. It's typical of what Victoria's Chinatown used to serve commonly 20 years ago. Only have the inside has the coconut topping, which already makes it pretty sweet, the rest is nice, soft doughy goodness. Recommended. They also serve lunch options; a small Chinese buffet of seven or eight items (noodle, rice, and 5-6 entrees) are available - catering to the taste of those looking for Western-oriented Chinese cuisine. === 3. SERVICE Frank is the previous owner; Henry and others now run the joint and he was very friendly. His service and the food was relatively quick. === 4. ENVIRONMENT It's cozy, with mirrors on one wall and display cases for food and seating at the window bar style or at tables of 2 or four in the middle. You might be able to bring a big group here, but you'd take up all of the space. It's very clean (windows, mirrors, and all) and relatively bright, so it's welcoming. One could bring wheelchairs and baby strollers but it may be a bit of a squeeze without being near the front door. Parking is limited to whatever you can find on the street (at downtown city rates - which aren't crazy at about $3.75 for an hour).
