    Signature Grass Jelly Desert

Signature Grass Jelly Desert was simply the best! Fresh milk with black tea was good. Service was slow, but definitely worth the wait. Ambiance was simplistic and nice. This place rocks!!

Great customer service, Delicious desserts [Victoria BC] I really wanted to try their Crepe Cake but was told that they sold out and won't get them again the following week. Not sure what ingredients they were waiting shipment for. So I chose a Japanese Soufflé Cheesecake next... same thing! Bummer. So hopefully they have the Egg Bubble Waffle and they did! Third time's a charm. We actually came here twice for dessert. The first time we had the Tiramisu Egg Bubble Waffle and then we came back again the next day and had the Chocolate Egg Bubble Waffle. They both look similar. The owners, young couple, were always hard at work and friendly too, especially the husband. They have their small children in the restaurant with them. The desserts were delicious. Hubby and I shared one both times... it was massive. They also have a separate menu for soup, salad, apps... and sushi! They are in the historic Dominion Hotel in Victoria's Old Town (an impressive, 4-story brick building located at the southwest corner of Blanshard and Yates Streets). Interior is pretty too with the fancy chandelier lighting. We found metered street parking. Located across the Cineplex Odeon Victoria Cinemas in Downtown Victoria BC. UPDATE: After completing my review Yelpers have reported that this business has closed. We were just there last week ¯\_('~')_/¯ Review #3159

Tried Soya Milk Tea with no ice. It's surprisingly good. If you like your milk tea non watery, then do no ice. There's soy pudding and agar boba in it.

I'm Taiwanese and I'd say this Taiwanese dessert place is legit! Both times I've been in, the staff has been so helpful and friendly. I got the taro grass jelly, and it reminded me of Taipei which is awesome because I can't travel due to the pandemic! All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The decor inside is lovely. I will be back! Note that you can let the dessert sit for a bit in the fridge to let all the sugary flavours soak in before eating it. The large size is huge so I ate it in two sittings.

Really hope this stays open! The only place in Victoria we've found that has Taiwanese grass jelly bowls & egg bubble waffles. Tried the strawberry parfait and found it to be better quality AND cheaper compared to the overrated parfaits at Perverted Ice Cream. Also tried the taro purple rice milk, which was a little light on the taro but overall not bad. Lastly, a nice & bright place to sit down with a friend!

They not only drink like usual, other Asian places sell Asian sweet treats but they have food (desserts) and savoury food too, like Sushi, ramen, etc

Amazing tea!! This cute little shop is not your typical boba tea shop. They pride themselves in making everything fresh and made to order. Sure, it takes a second but totally worth the wait! We ordered a tiramisu egg waffle - well balanced, nicely decorated, and the batter was mixed after we ordered so it was fluffy with great texture. We paired it with the shining star at this shop - a cup of brewed lychee oolong iced tea! I ordered it with no sugar to get the true flavor of the tea and it was incredible!

    Strawberry Soufflé Cake?

I was not a big fan of the coconut jelly dessert, and the jasmine tea was very concentrated (it's not sweet in case that's what you're looking for!) The Japanese souffle cake was not bad, but I couldn't eat too much of it because I'm not a big fan of whipped cream. If you enjoy light airy cakes and whipped cream, then you should definitely try the souffle cake! We were greedy and ordered a bunch of items, and they give you a free small coconut jelly (you can even mix the flavors on this one, so we got a combination of honey dew and strawberry) if you order more than I believe $25 in total.

This is right outside the Public Market and has plenty of street parking on and around the block. From the get go, amazing ambiance - bright, colorful infused with wooden interiors makes you take notice. A very innovative menu makes it hard to not try more than you planned on. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. We had the below items and can't wait to be back to try more on their menu. It seems they do refresh their menu quite a bit and the current menu is definitely bomb! 1. Hong Kong style Pork Sandwich - 12/10, amazing favors, very nicely done! 2. Savory Poptart - 10/10, light, flake, buttery, melt in the mouth 3. Mandarin Day Dream from their Signature Drinks - Drink of my dreams. I will dream of it until I can have it again and I hope they do not drop it from the menu until then. Such a innovative and well balanced drink - 20/10, must try!! We need you here in the U.S. Whoever is dishing out these creative menu items (signature drinks & the sandwiches) needs a raise!

I came here cuz I wanted to try something different today than Starbucks. The place is cozy. Plenty of tables on the sidewalk. Plenty of tables inside as well. I didn't think it was going to be conducive to someone reading or working but once you enter there's plenty of seats and table just for that to your left. Seats are comfortable enough that you can focus but not fall asleep. There's plenty of people working. There's a long line when I came in. They serve sandwiches, patties, some pastries. Pastries are mostly vegan or veggie, of that variety. I wish they had more choices of pastries as I was craving one. I ended up just ordering coffee. Im not sure how fresh those wrapped pastries are. Coffee is just about right, medium roast. Nothing spectacular but not bad either. Tried the Moka Ball which is basically peanut butter in a ball. It's hard and bit cold. Am not sure if it's supposed to be that way. It's ok. Wanted to get a sugar boost as I am feeling a little sluggish. Ambient music is also just right. Not blasting as some of the Starbucks stores do. You dont know if you're in a club or coffeeshop. This place has potential if they just have more fresh choices. A little friendliness from the staff would make wonders and convey warmth. Hope to comeback and try something different.

Everything in the display case looked delicious, but we decided on the lychee raspberry & rosewater pastry, the pistachio ganash tart and the pork & fennel sausage roll. The pistachio tart was fresh with a rich nutty flavor, though it took a little finesse to eat because the filling kept wanting to spill out. My favorite was the lychee raspberry & rosewater pastry. It was flaky, with a delicate sweetness from the fruits and a subtle floral note from the rosewater. You can really taste the dedication in these pastries. I'd recommend going early in the day as many of their items tend to sell out quick.

I only wish we lived in Victoria so this could become our regular go-to spot for special occasion cakes.
