I have been coming to Sgt pepps since I move to Aliso in 2022. The pizza is amazing. By far THE BEST pizza in OC. You gotta try the meatball ricotta it's my personal favorite. We are regulars of Sgt Pepperoni's Pizza but not particularly loyal to any one location. We usually order from whichever spot is most convenient for pickup at the time. We placed a takeout order over the phone and got two 18 inch pies. One was a Jalapeño Cheese for the vegetarians, and the other was half Bronx Bomber and half Meatball Ricotta for our guests who eat meat. We also ordered two spinach broccoli and cheese pinwheels and two cheesecake slices, classic NY-style and Oreo. This was for five people and it ended up being more than enough food. The pizza was good as always and the cheesecake was a hit, especially the classic. The pinwheels were cheesy goodness, maybe a little too cheesy for my personal preference. Came around 5:00 PM on a Friday night and there was plenty of seating. To be honest, I don't really care for the environment. The tables and chairs are really close together and not very comfortable. The game area for the kids is very limited and most of the machines don't work. As for the pizza, we ordered half the works and half the margarita. Personally, I liked the margarita better. It was very fresh and flavorful. The works was good too. My personal preference is a crispy thicker crust and this crust was pretty thin. The sauce was good and there was plenty of toppings, but I've had better pizza from other nearby places. Would I come back? Probably not. read more

Went in for a quick lunch. I did not know that you could get slices of their specialty pizzas. The pizza slices were good but the quality declines the longer they sit in there. Still, pretty good! I actually discovered Sgt Pepperoni in Newport Beach, then I came to the realization I also have Sgt Pep near home too! This location seems to either be more efficient with their customers or just less busy, which works in my favor. Service is consistently great, everyone's usually helpful and friendly. The dining area is clean since everyone cleans up after themselves, but the service team comes around and wipes everything down too. For the food, the wings are baked which isn't usually what I expect, so the texture is different from fried wings, I'm personally not a fan, but they were still good meaty wings. However, I LOVE to get the super bee, grandma's pie, or hawaii five-o. They sure know how to make good pizza here. The crust is the thinner style for most of the options, except for Grandma's Pie which is a thicker crust all the way through especially if you ask for a corner slice. Overall, great spot for pizza night with or without beers. Parking is accessible, but you're really fighting for it at this plaza since they have a ton of businesses. read more

The pizza is delicious. The beer is delightful. Service is excellent. Plenty of indoor and outdoor spacious seating. They even have kid meal coloring paper to entertain the kid. I would order a whole pizza just so it is fresh. It does take about 20 min for the pizza to come out from the oven. The single slide looks like they have been there for a while. We ordered a bbq chicken pizza and an antipasto salad(no pic of salad) Bbq chicken pizza (somebody snagged a piece before I could get to it) was really good, had a very slight bite to it in the bbq sauce which I thought was really tasty. Good preparation of the pie as well. Nicely done! The antipasto salad was well prepared and had great toppings. Good cuts of the meat, cheese, tomato, croutons, olives(not my fave-but party wanted it) but besides the last one it was really good. Dressing was delicious- classic Italian. Located in Aliso Viejo Town Center, this pizza place sells pizza by the slice as well as full-sized pizza pies. I visited for an early dinner on a weekday. They had multiple pizza slices available, all presented within a glass case. I decided on two slices - pepperoni and bbq chicken. A self-serve fountain drink machine offers the standard options or cans of soda are also available. The interior is large with multiple tv screens tuned to various programming, some sports, some sitcoms, some kid shows. There are many tables, both large and small, and also an abundance of patio seating. Within a few minutes my heated slices were brought to my table. The pepperoni was great. Nothing out of the ordinary though. Good cheese stretch, decent crust and a piece of pepperoni in every bite. The bbq chicken slice was also good. The bbq sauce was slightly sweet which I liked. Solid pizza - no complaints. Staff was friendly and quickly cleared my empty platter when I finished eating. They have some great lunch deals here. No exaggeration. Simple but flavorful. The garlic comes through beautifully as does the basil. Perfectly baked crust, very balanced use of ingredients make for a delicious pie. Wasn't really wow'd by the pizza, but I can see this pizza place being a go-to no-fuss one for those who regularly visit the area. I particularly tried The Works pizza (ordered a whole pizza for the fam). Best thing about it was the slightly crispy crust. Taste-wise very comparable to that of pizza from a typical pizza chain. Rest of the fam gobbled up the whole thing quickly, so I guess it's still some sort of win. :p Kinda busy plaza parking lot on a Sunday evening, but it wasn't too difficult to find a few available parking spots. 3 Stars (my rating for average). read more

I was recently visiting my son, and he ordered dinner from this restaurant. He told me that they had great pizza. I'm not sure what type of pizza he ordered. It had pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. Unfortunately, it tasted like it had been reheated. It just didn't taste fresh. Perhaps it was one of the pizzas that had been in the display case for a while. It was just okay. He also ordered an antipasto salad, which had greens, ham, salami, provolone, kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes, croutons, mozzarella, a hard-boiled egg, and pepperoncini. There was way too much cheese, but the dressing was good. I was expecting better since they had such great reviews on yelp.
