They were on top of our list, of course expecting to get 3 quotes. When we met with Chris we quickly realized that the reviews were true; from their guaranteed work ethic to the very good pricing, and availability. We waited about 5 minutes to call and sign up. When we met the crew; Sam, Sal, and Erick, we knew we had chosen the right people. They are meticulous in all their work, and most importantly when there are complications for joining the systems they take the time to craft the best solution, no matter what extra work that entails. Even more than that, they are the finest people you want to know, taking care to make your job their priority. You can't do any better!

The best thing about the world of reviews is that each potential customer can come on here, read…read morethem, and then decide whether you want to engage a company regarding their services. This company was referred to me, and I had not read the reviews. To be fair, had I read them, I would have probably given them an opportunity to earn my business. They are strong. That said, there were also some dissatisfied people, and that is the give and take with forums like this. When its good, great. Everyone can take a victory lap. But when it's bad, you also have to be willing to step to the mic after the game and be accountable. There is no accountability here. And if you read the reviews, it was typically over the same issue-money. This was my experience with them, and I now thoroughly understand what those individuals were saying. I would agree that there techs are friendly and knowledgeable. The issue is not with them. It's with the company's leadership and their thirst for cash, satisfied customers notsomuch. If you decide to use this company, understand a few things: They are not as interested in your satisfaction as they are in making sure your check cashes (even if its for several thousand dollars); they are very focused on hiding behind their "scope of work" contract, regardless of the sales pitch they use to get the business (be very clear about what your expectation is and make sure that is included in the scope of work, with estimates on how much each additional thing they don't wan to add to the contract is. You may get nickeled and dime to death. So if you are getting boilers installed, be sure that you insist that they work and they produce heat--i know that sounds unreasonable, but here we are), and understand they don't guarantee their work the way you would think they should...even with warrantees (the boiler they installed shorted and started smoking within days of them installing it, and they refused to come and address it, because it was easier to blame it on the new techs that had to finish the job--let's be clear. What would they incentive be for contractors to purposefully --or even accidentally break a transformer (if I could post the pictures I would) that would require them to work without heat, with the understanding that the boiler was under warrantee and they would have no opportunity to profit from it's failure)? Now, if those things don't matter to you, and based on the other dozens of great reviews they have for straight-forward work, has you enamored, then have at it. That is a great thing about this country. Everyone gets an opinion and everyone is free to do what they want. But for those of you that read reviews, and consider where you spend your money sacred, and return on investment matters to you, you might want to look elsewhere. I know I will be moving forward, and I would not recommend them personally or otherwise, because basic things about service should matter. There are several opportunities with RA Nichols in that space, and for those that don't like to gamble, this may not be the company for you.

Had my furnace serviced after a no heat call. The service tech arrived on time (same day as when I…read morecalled) and gave me a solid assessment of the issue. He gave me a few options to fix my issue with a most cost effective option. What I appreciated was his willingness to let me watch his work. He walked me through his trouble shooting method. It ended up being a faulty gas valve, which is what I had concluded prior to him showing up. Of course there was a markup on the part but that's to be expected. It's a business and I know I was paying for the convenience of the repair done right and at that time. It took him 2 hours to do the job. This included bringing something to code that my installer (no longer available) had done via a shortcut. All in all, it was a great job that was professionally executed. And my technician was awesome! I highly recommend this company. Also, I believe they are still an independent company and not a subsidiary following a buy out. That's good! Oh, why not 5 stars? Well, I had hoped the invoice would have been below $1000. It's the cost of doing business and unfortunately I was not prepared to shop this one around.

During our most recent system check-up (2022) they replaced a small switch while they were performing the annual service. They charged $300 for the part plus labor (it took 2 minutes), on top of the $160 annual service charge. We later realized the unit was still under warranty yet Indoor Air charged us for the work. It took four conversations to get them to fix their problem and they acted as if they were doing us a favor. One week later they had to come back because system kept shutting off. Apparently the condenser pump wasn't working: would have been nice if they tested it as they should have during our annual checkup. We were quoted $418 to replace it. The pump plugs in and is readily available on Amazon and at Home Depot for $60. We were being overcharged. Won't use them again.

Superb quality service and care of customers is an attitude, which almost always begins with the leader and my wife's experience with Frank who owns Reed's Heating and Cooling bears that out! He was honest, responsive and caring even sharing with her his experience with the product she was purchasing. Frank spoke clearly and didn't use terminology that might confuse her. He honestly told her that he couldn't get the original product but that the one he was installing, which she would never notice was any different than the original product, actually cost less. He gave her the time for her questions and always returned phone calls. He knew he was in competition with other businesses and did his research to make sure she would be totally satisfied once it was installed! Reed's secretary and other staff showed the same positive approach in serving their customer. This is a business that clearly follows their leader and their superb reputation reflects that.
