When I got to my hotel, I asked the man who checked me in for a recommendation of a good place to eat, so I responded to him with a question. I asked him if he were not working right now, and were out with his mates, where would he choose to eat? He looked at me with big eyes and asked really? I told him emphatically yes! He asked me if there was any food I didn't like, and I told him if I ever missed food, I didn't understand the question. So he told me to try this place, and asked if I was OK to go for a little walk. I was happy to. When I walked into this place I found it to be a corner neighborhood, fish and chip shop and it was very busy. To me this is a very good sign. I got there about 6:30, and I got desk clerk friend recommended, which was the fried sausage with chips and some curry sauce. I also added a cod fillet because I wanted to try the fish as well. The curry sauce and the sausage together were amazing! Oh, did I mention that the curry sauce was amazing?! Oh ya, I already told you how amazing the curry sauce was!! The fish was very good as well, the chips were spot on, and the curry sauce lifted everything on the plate to a new level for me. The curry sauce was nice and spicy and had a very full and rich flavor. As I sat and ate my meal, the place continued to bustle with people coming and going taking away food, and a few people sat down and ate as well. There are only a few tables in the place but they were all full the entire time I ate there and they must've served a dozen customers during the time that I ate. This place gets full marks for friendly service, smiling faces, EXCELLENT food, and all around great experience. Thank you for a wonderful meal. It is definitely a neighborhood staple and has a quaint ambience. A little out of the way for most casual eaters but if you want a delicious sausage, with curry sauce, look no further! Just GO for the curry sauce and stay for everything else!

Maxims is a very nice chinese shop which you can either order inside the shop or on the phone for free delivery.(all orders over £10 and within a radius of 2-3 miles.) Orders made by phone can take anywhere between 20minutes and 1 hour to be delivered and any orders made in the shop will take no more than 20 minutes. You also get free crackers with any order over £10 Free bottle of drink with orders overs £15 and so on. The young man who works in there is very polite and very helpfull he also speaks very good english so thats a bonus. The food is of excellent quality and if you have any problems with your order just ring them up and theyll sort it for you. Excellent chinese take away would reccommend.

I went in to get a quick bite and came out more stressed than I went in! Having said that I admire the staff for keeping the place that clean even when its so busy. As mentioned before, there are two floors of seating. There is also free wifi, which has worked like a charm every time I've been there, unlike some other McDonalds and establishments that promote free wifi.
