Not sure what happened since they were bought but they've messed up our pick up multiple times now. When we call, they lie and say they're going to pick up and then they do not pick up. Their pricing is no better than other services. They nickel and dime you for any extra pick up's and their toters are too small. We're done. I should have looked at Yelp! First. They did do a crack fill and sealing on a neighbor's driveway and it looked good so I went by the recommendation. They were prompt with coming out and giving me a verbal estimate and said they could schedule within 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, they lost me after that (I must have fallen thru a crack :) )and I had to call to get scheduled. The morning they were supposed to come they called and said they didn't get the hot seal on time but would come the next day. After 2pm, with impending rain on the next day, I called to cancel since the 2-day process would spread out to 5+ with a weekend in between even if the 100% rain doesn't come true. So I cancelled since they do seem very unreliable and disorganized. read more

Honestly shocked at the negative reviews on here for Seyrek. I have used them since 2017 for my garbage disposal and they have always been great. They always call before each holiday to update their customers regarding any schedule changes due to the holidays, they have NEVER missed a week of pick up (I have heard of many companies faulting with weekly pickup). There have been many tuesday's where I actually forgot to put my garbage out, and the garbage men have gone out of their way to walk up my driveway and get the garbage for me. A call before, the day of, if there's a weather delay, then again before.....repeat... I've been happy every time. They are the worst, they charge extra for a recycling tote because of extra volume, but on numerous occasions I've caught them throwing trash into the recycling truck I even have it on video. I've called and they say we will tell the owner. I confronted an employee and they told me the owner told them to do it!! My good friend used to work for them and told me the same thing. How is this even legal to charge someone extra to recycle but throw trash in the recycling truck? How is it legal to not recycle. Extremely disappointed. read more

I called to have an estimate done for patchwork and sealing. The estimate did not match up to what our driveway needed. The estimate also stated that the areas were spray painted in pink paint to show what needed to be done. No paint anywhere on our driveway. So I called to speak with the estimator. After 5-6 calls over a 6 week period, I have given up. Terrible customer service. I did tell them they would be getting a bad review. read more

I called Seyrek in March to inquire about moving the driveway at my property in Penfield. Jimmy came on 4/11/17 to assess the project. As of 5/18/17, I had not received a quote. I called and politely asked if they could check on the status of my quote. I followed up on 5/19/17 as I hadn't received a call back or a quote via email. I just spoke to Lindsey who informed me that the owner had passed the project off to another company because "the project was too big". This project would have encompassed a tear out, new gravel, and paving approximately 2,300 square feet. I waited 5 weeks for a quote that I never received. We have used Seyrek to seal our driveway in the past and they have always done a good job. The reason for my low rating is the amount of time it takes them to come out and do the work! I called over 2 months ago to schedule a driveway seal and at the time they told me they would be out within 2 weeks. After a month went by I called to follow up and they blamed the delay on rain (it rained maybe 2-3 days in that month so hardly a good excuse). They assured me someone would be out within the next 2 weeks. You can imagine my frustration now that another month has gone by and the job still isn't done. I called again the other day to ask about it and was given the exact same excuse and response. They assured me I was top on their list so as soon as they were in my neighborhood the driveway would get done. I was infuriated when I saw Seyrek out over the weekend servicing several houses in my neighborhood yet they never came to do our driveway. It's been over 9 weeks and we are still waiting. Would not recommend this company if your looking for service in a timely manner. I called the company month ago and indicated I am selling the house. They said that I would be a priority however I have had to call every week and I get the answer your in the list. I was told that they would be out this week and I watched them do my neighbors and not my driveway. Called to see when they are going to do my property and was given a date over a week out. So knowing how "backed up" this company gets, I tried to get on the "list" early this year. When they blew us off on their "first day of sealing" I called to get an update as to when they expected to get the work done. The receptionist they have is rude, poorly trained and ill equipped to manage question of a first grade variety. Like, "well if they missed yesterday, what time do they estimate they'll be onsite today?" She has no information. Ever. She then told me that "sometimes, neighbors come out while were on the job... and we're not going to turn away business..." Translation, convenience of grabbing a quick $75 means we're happy to screw people who actually scheduled a time for service. By time I mean, a full day. Lots of excuses for a commodity business. Found a better price, with a definitive scheduling tool and a "track the truck" feature. Adios Seyrek. read more

I had Seyrek seal my driveway this year. They were postponed a couple of times due to weather, but they communicated well what was going on, so I was never left wondering what the plan was. The price was good at $68. However, the actual sealing was absolutely worthless. They didn't fill any cracks, and I can't even tell if they pressure washed like they claim they do, as there was a little growth of moss in one depression a few days after the sealing. $68 is good, but it was $68 wasted. WOW how can a company so completely disorganized stay in business??. Office employees must be family because how else could you keep a job at that low level of performance. They promise to show up but don't , they promise to call back they don't. They have zero communication with their crews, get a cell phone its 2015. Their performance is the same whether lawn rolling, aeration or sealing. Same crews must do it all. They say they are not sealing yet and not starting a list but around the corner there was a newly sealed driveway with a Seyrek cone. Really do you guys even have a clue what is going on. Did you ever hear of computers and scheduling programs. Did you ever learn what it means to communicate or you probably don't care? Seyrek means crappy service. We use Seyrek for our garbage pick up and have never been more impressed with a companies customer service. Highly recommend. My experience with Seyrek was amazing. All our relatives are feeling the same and that is why I needed to share. We need more company's with the personal touch. My garbage bins are neatly placed back and not abused. For over 3 decades I have dealt with garbage companies that would throw our bins like a angry child. I said, no more and found Seyrek disposal. Their guys are very respectful, say hello and are always aware of the children in our neighborhood. They are not just trying to beat the clock. I found them to be very professional and super fast. Our dental office needed the parking lot sealed and painted. I called and got right through to someone who scheduled us right away. The cost was relatively inexpensive yet the service and product are really fantastic. I feel bad that others didn't have as great service as I did. I would definitely recommend them to others. Their quote for my driveway was the better of any I had received. They had done other driveways in my neighborhood and the results looked execellent. Now I requested service during the late fall and I knew it would be a problem due to weather. The communication between Seyrek Sealers and myself was excellent. They got the job done and it looked great. However, the weather the next day was awful and affected the sealer. The company said they would come back next spring and correct the issue as the weather is now too cold to reseal. They said the job would be done at no cost. I have seen the other comments but I must say they did an excellent job and would advise my neighbors to use them in the future. read more

Absolutely the worst service that I have ever experienced. Called to get a snowplow contract for the year - I have two driveways and wanted a pricing on one and both. Representative said he would have to talk to owner and get pricing. Called back and with quotes for both or for the single. Stated that I could stop in the office to sign the contract and pay with a check which I did right away. I mean 19.99 a month for garbage and recycling pfft take my money and sign me up. I hired Seyrek to seal my driveway and they never came . I called to see what was going on and the reception girl said they never had a order from me to do it!!! Are you kidding me or what . I then asked to speak to a manager and a guy named John who I presume was the owner was very rude and arrogant to me . We contacted Seyrek Sealing to seal our driveway and do the necessary crack filling. They seemed to be disorganized and after a few reschedules, they finally showed up at 7 PM on a scheduled date. They were young guys who apparently were in a hurry to finish for the day. They said not to bother with the crack sealer and to just deduct that amount from the bill. They did a sloppy job and we called to complain and explain about the crack filling not being done. A while later, they sent another man who came and acknowledged the mistakes of the previous workers - his crews filled the cracks and did a decent job of resealing . After they left we noticed 14 foot long deep tire marks along the front of our front lawn. We felt the lawn should be repaired before we settled the account. We called many times and were told by the clueless receptionist that someone would be out to take care of the matter. We finally sent them a letter with photos of the damage. We never heard anything until we got another bill today. We called today and this time someone actually answered the phone. My husband very politely explained the situation. The man said he never got our letter and that he fired the inept receptionist. He was extremely rude and proceeded to tell us that they are not liable for any damage done by their trucks. His excuse is that they can be ticketed if their trucks are not completely off the road. We live on a dead end street. He was extremely nasty and insisted we pay him immediately and he would come out sometime and throw some dirt on the ditches. We have one estimate to repair the lawn. We have had many different sealing companies do our driveway over the years and never once did we have any damage to our property. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! read more

We have used Seyrek sealers for sealing our driveway for many years. Our driveway was 'topped' about 18 years ago (was originally put in in 1980), and was showing its age with numerous cracks. About 8 years ago we had Seyrek start using the 'cold' crack filler to fill the cracks prior to sealing. However, one of their foreman noted, after a the third year using 'cold' crack filler, that it wouldn't last too long, except for improving the cosmetic look of the driveway, and suggested going to the 'hot' crack filler. This was much more expensive, about $89. At that time I was considering having the driveway ripped out and a new driveway put in. The foreman convinced me that that the 'hot' crack filler would work great and add years to the driveway. He was right! For the last 5 years or so Seyrek has filled any cracks using 'hot' filler, including any that began to appear from prior 'fillings'. Filling the cracks with 'hot crack filler' and then sealing the driveway, is a process that usually is a day apart (allowing for the 'hot' crack filler to cool and harden prior to putting on the sealer). Sometimes, depending on weather, the Seyrek office calls to reschedule. But, I have always found them to be timely, and good communicators when it came to scheduling and completing the job. So, rather than spending thousands for a new driveway eight years ago, I invested about $160 each year with Seyrek for 'hot' crack filler and sealing. The result is that after they do the job my driveway looks great, and I'm sure I'm many years away from needing a new driveway. read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. My husband left a message on their website to get a quote, and it was indicated that someone would respond within 2 days. 4 days later we still hadn't heard from them. I called to see why no one responded, and the guy on the line didn't even respond at all. He just asked what my address was. Then he said he couldn't find my address with that zip code, and asked me if it might be this other street. I KNOW WHERE I LIVE! I've never been treated in such a demeaning manor by any company. When he finally found my address in his computer, he asked how long it had been since the driveway was sealed. I told him I didn't know, since we hadn't sealed it since we moved in. He tried getting an aerial view on his computer, and couldn't get a good picture. He then proceeded to ask me again when was the last time it had been sealed. Obviously, he wasn't listening to me at all, so I explained again that I didn't know. He then said that a rep would be out the next week to look at our driveway. No one ever came. We had several people recommend this company, but we will be taking our business elsewhere, and never recommending them to anyone. read more

I would also not recommend Seyrek Sealers!! I had my driveway sealed by Seyrek in 2012 & paid cash. 2013 I get a bill saying they just did my driveway & they didn't... Computer problem they said! I got my driveway "top coated" with asphalt summer of 2013 & needed my driveway sealed this year. I called Seyrek in September & they tell me they are sealing till November 1st. I call back early October & they tell me I'm on the list & they will call me 3 days ahead of time. Now it's October 20th & I call to check & I am told they are done sealing for the year! So much for a 3 days notice or even a heads up that they are done sealing! Lady on the phone had zero customer service & actually called me back 5 minutes later because she had a message that I called.... She probably went thru the call log & saw I called 3 times before they were open. Just totally unhappy with everything about their business, I don't know how they keep customers with their actions!!!
