I first met Tracy when I brought my BMW Z4 convertible in (a 2-seater) for reupholstery. I showed…read moreher the car and the part of the driver's seat that was worn pretty badly. I explained that I wanted it to look like new and perfectly match. Tracy explained to me that even with the exact same leather that it couldn't be a perfect match because I'd have a mix of old leather and new leather. And so, I decided to reupholster both seats. Next, Tracy brought her husband in to look at the car and select the correct fabric. They went through a number of fabric books, then he ultimately pointed to one and said he thought that was the one. It didn't look quite grainy enough, but he or Tracy said something about it being a bad sample - it was a while ago and I don't recall exactly how this was stated. In retrospect, I should have demanded to see a full-size sample before moving forward so I could see for myself if it was a match. Instead, I trusted their judgement to proceed forward and scheduled a time to bring in my car. Next, I brought in my car at the scheduled time. Tracy called me later that morning to inform me that the wrong fabric had come in and it would take an extra couple of days for the correct fabric to come in. I agreed to leave my car for the extra time due to the mistake. Note that I paid for the rest of the balance over the phone prior to seeing the finished work. Next, I came in to pick up my car once it was ready. I immediately saw that the fabric was wrong and I immediately pointed this out to them. I informed them that I would need to think over what to do and talk it over with my girlfriend as well. The fabric was the correct color but the wrong grain. It was very obvious that it did not match the other leather in the car, including the head rests. I felt really bad for them since I knew they were going through some very difficult personal troubles over the past few months. But it should have been very obvious before they installed the leather that it was not a match - not even close. When I called back to inform them that I wasn't going to be able to accept the wrong fabric having pondered the situation, they made it sound like it was my fault, saying I was the one who picked out the leather to install. I was shocked and a bit speechless. I was not the expert. I made my expectations clear to Tracy at the beginning and went with their selection. I was open to paying *something* toward them fixing it and putting in the right fabric and asked them to send me full-size samples hoping we could negotiate some sort of compromise. When I got the samples none of them were a match. When I called Tracy, she said I was sent incorrect samples and I really couldn't understand her explanation fully as to what I did and didn't get sent. Apparently, some of the samples weren't even for a BMW. I asked her to check about sending me a match and she said she'd look into it. After over 2 weeks, I can tell nothing is coming and there is no good faith from them to do anything to correct this. Thus, I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I can't even remember the last time I've had to file a dispute when my credit card info wasn't stolen - might have been 7 years or so ago. If the credit card dispute fails, I'll have to decide whether or not to pursue the matter in small claims court. What a mess. Wish I had just kept the original fabric and never went through any of this.

But, my review is similar in status as the other 1 star reviews, NO COMMUNICATION....PROMISED DEADLINES COMING AND GOING....ETC. They picked up my 84 Camaro Z28 in August of 2024. It had electrical issues and interior issues. Also wanted the car wet sanded and buffed as it was recently repainted but not wet sanded.. They did scratch the lip around the front, but owned it and said they'd take care of it. To this day, the paint has not been corrected, they have done the wiring, as in their electrician checked it out and said it was now good. Car starts according to them. After MANY calls unanswered, text messages unanswered I have decided to do this review. I hate reviews!!! But, if it keeps others from going through what I am going through....so be it. I did tell them when they picked it up I am NOT interested in a show car. I want something that I like and SAFE to drive. Contract was for electrical rewiring, I provided the harness, paint wet sanding and buffing....interior panels, door skins, lizard skin the body, new carpet, NEW HEADLINER THAT ACTUALLY FITS THE CAR. And all cloth panels on the interior redone to match carpet and seats. I "did" say I was in no extreme rush for the car to be completed. But, 18 months is way too long for the amount of work they had, have to do. Last time I had any contact with them was DEC 24th. At that time I was told the lizard skin was going into the car. Then, on Jan 23rd I am told they are reaching the halfway point of the lizard skin. WTH? I want the car finished. I have been told the delays are due to other cars having to be completed ahead of mine, or for a rush timeline for various other reasons. The stories between the 2 differ widely. I just want the car finished!!!!!

Jordan was a life saver for our 2005 350Z convertible. We'd been getting the run around from…read moreseveral shops/dealers on our top that hadn't worked right since we purchased the car several years ago, everyone who touched it seemed to make it worse, taking no responsibility and giving lots of "other" reasons it wasn't working right. We were at wits end with a dealer offering to replace the entire top/motors everything for $8k!!!!!! So, when we found Jordan, we came in skeptical and dubious. He patiently explained the options worked with us to order parts and wait a long time for them to come in due to supply chain issues. He helped trouble shoot through 3 different possible problems. He replaced a cheap and badly installed top with a much better one that is properly installed making the ride MUCH quieter, that helped but didn't fully fix. He also diagnosed the shocks as being bad which helped more, but still didn't fully fix. Then, he finally narrowed it down to the 5th bow motor. He even got a report from the Nissan dealer that was done several years prior for us that apparently pointed to this but they hid this info from us after the diagnosis - preferring to tell us to replace it all. Don't get me started on that point. Jordan put in lots of time and went above and beyond over the 4 months it took, start to finish, as we waiting for parts, put things in in the sequence that made sense, tested things and kept digging. Finally, it's working like a dream! To say we are happy is an understatement. I fully trust Jordan's work and his integrity to get to the bottom of the problem and be respectful of your desires and budget. He takes pride in his work and wants it done as close to perfect as he can get. He hopes not to see our car anytime soon, but should it need anything, we'll be going straight to Jordan, no question about that.
