We've come back several times to pick up and you still did not have it completed. We've been more than patient with you, but today when we came to get it, you yelled at my husband to get out of the store because you were not open. We live in Corunna. It's a 20 minute drive each way. I seriously do not understand why you have so many clients because you are awful. I want my jacket back so we can take it to a competent seamstress to have it fixed. Very very happy with my wedding dress alteration. She was so professional and knowledgeable! I had no idea that it could even be that flattering on me. I thought my dress was perfect and only needed a hem but her artistic talent showed me other areas where she could alter to make it fit me like this dress was made for me. This woman knows what she is doing, and I will definitely be bringing my entire wardrobe in to be made more flattering. 10/10 five stars. I was also very impressed by the store hrs. Plz DO NOT take anything to her, I took my winter coat there to replace the zipper,she gave me a 2 week date to pick it up,called her she said she was going on Xmas holiday for 2 weeks,I said that's fine just call me when it's done which was told another date,waited for her phone call after weeks of nothing,I went there& she goes to look for it& says oh no I said is it not done,she said no,I'm sorry blah blah blah,then said I had trouble finding the zipper,(ya right),says she will have it ready now that she ordered the zipper,gimme a week,so again waited,by this time snow has begun,mind you I took it to her in Oct.its now Jan., I waited again,no call nothing in almost a month,I call her she has yet another excuse,saying she started to remove the teeth,(Lies),I told her how long is this gonna take u keep telling me a date then nothing,she says I'm sorry blag blah blah again,now a few days,she will call me,I said ARE U SURE THIS TIME? uve told me this for a couple months now,your gonna call me Right? I told her so if I leave it again when I call it's gonna be done otherwise Ile come get it if u don't know how to do it,by thus time it's Feb. Check this out! Brought my daughters prom Dress to "Sew it fits", Jessica (the owner) was suppose to be my close "friend" so naturally I wanted to give her business. I brought my daughters prom dress (I got on sale for 35.00) in to get altered April 27th. She didn't give me a price or any idea of how much it was going to be. She told me to come back on June 3rd. She pushed the date for pick up 3 times and told me it was ready 2 days before my daughters prom day (keep in mind I gave it to her months before). I go to get the dress and guess how much it is?? 403.00!! I didn't say anything to her at the shop because she had a customer present so I texted her professionally and she responded with sarcasm. She then sent me the invoice because it wasn't provided when I paid. Jessica feels she did nothing wrong. She didn't tell me right off the hop it was going to cost an insane amount because if she did I would've declined the service. I explain this to her and she starts to get rude and nasty so I tell her I don't feel this relationship is in our best interest and she loses it on me. One month passes, I have a yard sale and she shows up with her friends, gets directly in my face nose to nose screaming at the top of her lungs (she was spitting on me) and starts antagonizing me then calling me names like "whore" in front of all these people including my kids!!! I asked her to leave and she refused and my fiancée called the police. She said I had her two sweaters that she wanted back and I didn't have them/ couldn't find them. If she wanted her sweaters, don't you think you can text me for that instead of starting a scene. She purposely came to my home to start a fight. She's a mother and a 42 year old woman!!! Absolutely insane!!! Who does that?? Their is so so much more to this and I have proof of text messages and everything. I would NOT Recommend going to her! Friendship aside, it was not professional the way things went on and then it was crazy insane to show up at my house and try starting a fist fight. I have no idea how she stays in business. Ruined my dress. Had to take it back after first alteration because she cut the neckline crookedly - charged $52.00. The 'fix' was to adjust the 1" shoulder strap on one side to bring the centre back into place (added a shoulder seam) leaving the arm hole smaller and the dress shorter on the altered side - charged another $48.00. Excuses but no responsibility or apology for making the dress unwearable. Can not recommend. read more
