Over the years we have had Sew Creative replace seat covers, repair seat covers etc. However this time Eddy and his crew went above and beyond. We have hunting Labs and they have wet suits for when it's really cold. Their old suits were getting worn out and the lady who used to make them for us in Monterey retired. Several years before the company was known , my husband & I would would bring in several little projects in for Eddie to do! He was eager to do! Then he got too big for his own britches!!! Once again we had some little projects for him to do! One was to sew a mast for our sale boat! Another was to sew arm chair covers for my new furniture! And another , was to recover my old recliner! Eddie said basically it wasn't worth his time, And cost more than it was worth! While I was in his shop to pick out the colors for my arm chair covers, A Women came in with a recliner in worse condition than mine! He jumped right on that! And gave her a quote of 3000.00 ! We came into their shop with an unusual request: We had a dog car seat, could they alter it so we could add safety straps? Not only could they, they did a fabulous and QUICK job. Now it was a little expensive but quality work is wirth every penny (and altering pet car seats is a bit complicated). We took a chance on a company we've never before used and it turned out great. Very good craftsmanship. I was quoted a price and the length of time it would take to complete my motorcycle seat. In the end it was a shorter time and I was charged less than quoted. Very good job. Awful awful awful... customer service from owner and staff. Very unhappy with the way they handle the situation instead of understanding what I was trying to explain, the Owner did nothing but got on defensive side not owning up to the issue and understand whAt I was trying to show them. If he would of taken the time to at least listen to the customers concern on the issue, I would of totally had given them a chance but he did nothing other then straight up he rude and unprofessional for a business. My husband and I been looking for a place to custom our van and we had a couple of options but my husband had a GOOD feeling about EDDIE's professionalism, and OMG he was right!! I'm so glad we gave him this project, he's so talented and creative, he went beyond with an amazing work, from leather panels to creative pictures, lights and more! I loved my van when I seen it. We had our 32 foot Bayliner interior seat cushions done. Beautiful results. Professional friendly service and very quick to get it done. We are thrilled! I got my headliner repaired here and they did a fantastic job!! It's so good that it looks like it came out of the factory brand new and they even went the extra mile of glueing the headliner around the back that will add extra strength to the fabric and make it last longer. read more

Got a custom padded top installed on my 1973 Lincoln. They did a great job and the owner is pretty cool. They also re-installed my rear window and put on some trim. I do not recommend this place. When canceling an order it was so time consuming and stressful. The owner was very rude and they do not have a cancellation policy. We placed an order and 3 hrs later tried to cancel. After 4 phone calls and $100 later, we were able to cancel. read more

I'm guilty of not writing reviews but here I have to make an exception. I went to Sew Creative on a friends recommendation to have my convertible top replaced. I dropped off the car and the new top unopened in a box, when they opened the box they discovered it had a rip. Fortunately for me Eddie and crew had taken precautions to inspect the top as they opened the box. I was away on vacation when I got the call about the rip. Eddie worked with the manufacture to replace the top and to change the color to what I wanted. Not to long after all the work was done the rear window shattered, through no fault of myself or the shop Eddie took responsibility and working with the company confirmed the window needed to be resized and a new top was delivered and changed at no cost... What company out there goes through this much work to satisfy a customer " Sew Creative" does. Can't thank Eddie and his team enough, not many like you guys out there. read more

eddie is the owner. i was told they did good work, i brought him some panels off my plane to upholster. after about three weeks i called to get status on completion, he said about two more weeks and they would be done, two weeks later, oh give me one more week. one week later, oh give me tell the end of next week, end next week oh i need another week, you get the picture not to honest just a bunch of bs. he told me that he had did some work on them. but i was fed up and picked my panels up almost three months later, he did nothing to them good luck if you use this upholstery shop. read more
