On May 7 2025, I returned to pick up my clothes. Looked as I was just getting there as the clothes that had been sent out had returned and I stated, it looks as though I am just in time to pickup. I then gave the lady clerk my cloth receipt. She went and pulled everything down I thought and went to cash register and stated that my total was $98.17. I stated are you sure about because I do not have that many pieces of clothing and I have never had a $98 laundry bill. She then stated yes that is correct! I then began to ask what was the price of the jeans and she stated around $18.00, to which I said what. I then asked what was the price of the two shirts and she stated that around $14.00 a piece, and again I said what in the Samuel L. Jackson kind of price is that. I was getting ready to leave Wisconsin on Friday on another job assignment so I just paid because I did not have time to discuss this further. After looking at my clothes it was determined that the jacket to my jogging suit was not there to which she went and found. After looking at my price slips when I go back to the hotel it is determined that I was charged $37.00 for two pair of jeans $30.00 for two dry clean shirts and $30.00 for the jogging suits. Now I travel t quite a bit and have been to some places that were expensive to get you clothes cleaned but never at this price. Now the lady who ever she was the manager or owner never tried to say this is kinda high even after I stated that the person that I turned my clothes into was having problem with the computer. This cleaners deserved to be red flagged.

Staying at the Fairfield I've sent items it and had to complain more than once. They love to blame it on the manufacturer of a garment if it is damaged and don't take any responsibility until you call, complain and make them. My wool dress was supposed to be hand washed delicately and the cuffed sleeves came back stained yellow with spots and all they did was blame the binding and refunded me $17. The dress came back worse the second time around. They did not offer to replace the cuffs at all. The sleeves were frayed. The dress cost me $120 and they said they're not responsible due to a manufacture defect even though I'm sure their seamstress could have replaced my cuffs. My dress is now completely unwearable. They broke a zipper on a second dress and then had the audacity to tell me that the zipper wasn't broken. I had to tell them numerous times that it worked before being sent in and now does not I.E the dress zipper IS BROKEN. After 5 min of back and forth she said she could take it in and replace the zipper for a cost which lead to another 5 min of discussing the fact that they should do it for free. The dress finally did come back after they replaced the zipper. Save yourself the trouble of losing loved garments and just do your dry cleaning at a better more responsible place. Stannard is irresponsible with clothes and does not know how to take care of customers.

From that, I thought they would call me when it was done; they didn't. I went in a few days later to pick it up, and it looked terrible like it hadn't even been touched. It seemed all they did was lint roll it to get some hair/fuzz off of the back which I could have done myself. One of my letters is one year older than the other two, and I haven't had it cleaned since I added my two new ones, making my first letter a little darker in color. When I got it back, it was almost the exact same and my colors were not even close to the same color. I took it back to complain because I was not at all happy with the results. I called earlier this morning to check if it was ready to be picked up, and they said they "had already called and left a message". When I said I didn't get any messages, they said it was my phone's fault. Anyway, I went in to pick it up and the lady working told me that there was absolutely nothing they could do to make it look better because the colors would "bleed". On top of all of this, we didn't get a refund. I would absolutely not recommend this dry cleaner to anyone. And yes, these are the after photos.

Not a mom and pop shop - you won't get that level of service here. I live an hour away and I…read morebrought a silk cami in that had grease stains on it (food). They did not remove the stains the first time, so they let me bring it in again for a re-do. The person at the front desk has no way of marking where the stains are (they're difficult to see without proper lighting), and they didn't seem interested in coming up with a solution other than, "well send it through for a re-do" which came out with the exact same results. Stains are still there. I expected them to make note that there are three stains so the person cleaning it will know to look for three stains, but this is a commercial business and they operate accordingly; the person at the front desk takes your order, and someone else in the company who is possibly vision impaired cleans it, and nothing gets resolved. Two hours of driving each visit and my silk cami looks exactly like it did when I first brought it in. They're nice but don't expect anything beyond that.
