If you have never seen the harpsichord performed live, dear friend, put this on your bucket list…read more Around for over 26 years, the LBO is about-12 piece collective of mostly strings that performs at Hamline University's Sundin's Music Hall several times yearly. My music education does not extend much beyond piano lessons as youngester, but I know good music when I hear it and delight in an evening when I can watch talented locals perform Vivaldi and Hayden in an in a pretty casual venue. My favorite part of this group, besides the harpsichord and the delightful incredibly well executed baroque tunes is the crowd. The patrons are serious music buffs and come from all walks of life. You also cannot underdress for a performance: come as you are and sit back and relax. I guarantee you will leave feeling lighter and brighter... Best part is if you are a student, tickets are ONLY $6. Otherwise, prices go up to $23, which I still believe is a pretty great deal compared to the still fun but more stuffy crowd at the Minnesota Orchestra for example (and bonus: no booming Tympani drum!). General seating. You can always get tickets at the door.

I checked out the performance they put on at St. Marks Church in N. St. Paul and I was very impressed. There was no charge to see them perform. They played about 3 classical pieces and the concert lasted about two hours? Sorry I just can't remember how long I was there! They played the pieces very well! It was a pretty big orchestra with at least 30? (once again can't remember off the top of my head) members playing all the different instruments. If you look at their website it shows that they play at a bunch of different locations throughout the year. I would definately check them out again.

Many people say they are expensive, but for the most part, the prices ride the middle compared to other vendors. I was very happy the day of, everyone was on time, some even stayed late. My pictures were beautiful, my video ended up being above and beyond expectations, and my hair was lovely. The DJ had a few mic issues, but played a great Playlist and kept everyone on the dance floor. I also loved the discount I got for continuing to book with Bellagala. It is a bit tricky to get to. They are located above the Bulldog restaurant so if you aren't familiar with the city, it's tricky. You either need to parallel park by the meters.or park in the ramp, and then find the super inconspicuous elevator to take you up to Bellagala. But if you are local, or feeling confident, I'm sure you could find it without an issue. Very professional staff. They are dressed professionaly, offered us tea and water, and they took notes the whole meeting. Very impressed and will recommend to everyone.

We hired Bellagala for day-of wedding coordination because we wanted to spend our wedding focused…read moreon each other and our guests, not managing logistics. Unfortunately, our coordinator became one of the biggest sources of stress that day. Leading up to the wedding, communication often felt reactive. We found ourselves repeatedly following up, initiating planning discussions, and driving decisions. While our coordinator was friendly, she never gave us confidence that the details were truly under control. On the wedding day, that lack of preparation became apparent. Multiple family members had to step in and perform responsibilities we had hired a coordinator to handle. At one point, our coordinator insisted our reception ended at 10:00 p.m., despite our contract reserving the venue until 11:00 p.m. Even after being corrected once, she later began directing family members and guests to clean up an hour early, causing part of our reception to end prematurely. Family members had to correct her a second time. What has been most disappointing is the lasting impact. Every conversation I've had about our wedding since then has included someone asking, "What was happening with your coordinator?" or commenting on how overwhelmed and unprofessional she appeared. Instead of remembering our wedding for the joy of the day, many people remember the chaos surrounding its coordination. We shared these concerns with Bellagala in detail after the wedding. Their response was that they believed the contracted services had been fulfilled and they declined any refund or other resolution. I understand that no wedding is perfect, but a day-of coordinator should reduce stress, not create it. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Bellagala's coordination services.

We ignored this. After set up, he finally started playing and singing music. I told John up front we had lots of song requests and people that would want to sing. Nick did not have or know a lot of them. It was my party so I was singing and having a good time. People farthest from the set up could not hear anyone singing besides Nick and his guitar. He took many breaks and was served drinks. We were all a bit befuddled by the whole thing. Not professional. Was asked if his Dad could do magic at the party, I declined this but after he got here he still asked again and then asked about doing balloon animals for the kids. Out of kindness I said okay but was not going to pay him. JUST very awkward. I am very disappointed in the company along with the amount of CASH I paid up front. I would be very leery of hiring this outfit. And lastly, like my husband said, we had tons of people here wanting to have a fun time, but guests were upset and sad over the set up. Pretty hard to upset a crowd just wanting to have fun.
