The performers did a fantastic job blending humor and audience participation, making it an unforgettable night. Brian, the actors, along with the staff at the Sheraton in Bloomington worked so well together, you would have thought they were one! If your looking for a unique and lively event for a group I highly recommend!

We had had a terrible experience trying to deal with a different company originally and we ended up having to find another company and I am so so glad we found the Mystery Cafe. First off, Brian, who is the owner, was just fantastic all around, responsive, accommodating, kind, and organized. The night of the actual performance, I did not feel nervous at all, he and I had communicated multiple times and also already tested all of the electronics weeks prior to the event, it went off without a hitch. It was fun because it did require audience participation, but it was not too high pressure and they made the atmosphere just so light and exciting and it was FUNNY! There was so much humor and I found myself laughing a lot more than I had thought that I would. 10/10 would recommend. They came to our event, there were 3 actors and I must say, I think that the cost was very fair and reasonable. Great time!

Dreamland Arts - set for Wounspe Wanktya - A College Education by New Native Theatre

I have just absolutely loved every show and reading I've attended at Dreamland Arts. I don't know…read morehow they curate or select their artists, but everything I've attended has been emotional, thought-provoking and has had a creative prowess that keeps the bar high for other theaters and performance venues. There's something very special about the intimacy that a 40-seat theater can create and they do this right at Dreamland Arts.

A lovely small enchanting theater space right in a cozy residential neighborhood in St. Paul. If…read moreyou are wanting to expand your inner artsy self or perhaps expose your children to more creative adventures you owe it to yourself to pull up the website and see what is happening. I recently attended the one woman show called "woman who drink"--by Leslye Orr who is also part owner of the theater. I applaud and admire the brave soul she seems to be and am in awe of people that can be so uninhibited and free to just perform on stage and be vulnerable. This was the second time I have seen this show and I love it but she did inform the audience that the "ladies" are retiring after this weekend! Boooo hooo. On a side note Leslye is legally blind and also authored a book called the "People on the Corner" that is a story for children to help them understand that just because others may have differences like race, disabilities, family structures, cultures, we are all human and want to be acknowledged. Coming up for the trick-or-treating season they are hosting a dress up event for children dressed in costume to bring along a stuffed animal friend that is also dressed in costume and there will even be a little tea party after the show. Leslye and her husband Zaraawar Mistry seem to be a perfect pair that want to offer an event space for unique events where everybody is welcome and at affordable prices sometimes even just a donation!
