Sona is truly a child whisperer in the way that she is able to meet children exactly where they are and lead them into their most amazing selves. The activities she engages them in fosters independence and real world transferrable skills that are evident when the kids are outside of school/care. Transitioning my son to elementary school was an absolute breeze and I whole heartedly believe that is largely in part due to Sona's investment in my child. Notably, the support, guidance, and patience she demonstrated during the COVID-19 shutdown was immeasurable. My child understood masking, germs, and protecting self and others which is wildly impressive for a then two year old who's world changed over night. Both of my children have routinely hit developmental milestones on time or ahead of schedule in an organic and supported manner. Oh and I forgot to mention, the kids get exposed to organic local produce that they learn to grow responsibly and sustainably in Sona's personal garden. When he was an infant, the staff was so caring and supportive that we felt very comfortable leaving him, and he's our first child so that's saying something! He stayed home with us during the pandemic and had limited interactions with others outside of the home. Since re-enrolling him, he is thriving and loves his teachers and his friends. We couldn't ask for a better environment and plan to enroll our second child as well. One of our favorite things is that the teachers post pictures and videos (to a private classroom group of course) throughout the day so we can see what the kids are learning and can see them having fun. I can speak for my husband and I when I say how absolutely THRILLED we are with Kiddie Academy. Our daughter has grown developmentally in both academics and socially since her starting at KA. Our daughter LOVES going to school every morning and I can see why. When I drop her off, we are greeted by the same friendly staff members every morning which makes me feel at ease. My husband and I look forward to the daily communication via an app and email where we receive pictures and videos throughout the day. At pickup, we get a daily detailed report of everything she did from what she ate, her bathroom schedule, to the curriculum that was touched on that day. We cannot wait to see how much our daughter grows there in the future!

They have wonderful seasonal events, theme weeks in the summer, and lots of opportunities for fun. My very small feedback is that sometimes it was hard to communicate about supplies needed like diapers or changes of clothes, and sometimes we had to wait a while at pick up. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone. No longer having her was a blessing in surprise as now he's in a place where he learns daily, from talking to social skills. Let's start with the caregivers, who've all been very pleasant and understanding. We especially like "Miss Meg", who knows every little child by name and recognizes their personalities and behaviors. Just the other day she was professionally reigning in a child that was being a bit of a bully, teaching some ethical behavior. All of the caregivers are polite, professional, and ready to talk with you about anything. They keep a daily log on food, naps, diapers, and what the child was up to, all to discuss with the parent at the end of the day. I've even had them gladly change my son if he's due for a new diaper right when I show up to take him home. Even better, they're going to help potty train him... oh yeah! Then we look at the facility, which is larger than it appears and full of everything for a growing mind. The toddler room has plenty of toys, including building blocks, and all the amenities of a school. An in-house kitchen is used to serve proper food, they use one of the larger areas (for older kids) to have a weekly movie afternoon, and they have plenty of outdoor play area that the children use regularly. There is also a locked front door with a security keypad, to ensure school safety. The only downside is the price, and even then it's average for the area. You can expect to pay upwards of $400/week for babies, dropping to about $300/week once they're over two and continuing to drop after that. It seems expensive, but considering you're basically putting them into pre-preschool, and you can see the value. You do have to call and make sure they have any openings, but La Petite is part of a larger chain of day cares throughout the area, so they may have other locations that might work as well. If you're in need of some place for your little one, then I can't recommend La Petite enough!

Responses to Yelp reviews are purely for their image as admin at the Primeron does not respond nearly as fast or as professional to attending families.

Suzanne, the director is a warm and caring leader and these characteristics are passed down to the staff. My son has always felt at home at this center. When we moved and he started Kindergarten, instead of attending summer camp at his new school and closer to our new home, he asked to go back to Kindercare in Hanover for summer camp. The summer program was filled with activities and numerous field trips to keep the children engaged and ensure a fun filled summer! Although the center did experience a period of staff transition, the director worked diligently to ensure minimal impact to the children. This was not something the staff/director could control so it would be unfair to hold them responsible. The leadership at the center will listen to any concerns shared, and will get to know your child and ensure their needs are met. They supported us in throwing two amazing birthday parties for our son at the center. Years later he still speaks fondly about these great experiences. He was also able to make great friends while he attended Kindercare in Hanover. Due to a military move, we had to leave the center, but were very sad to leave.
