food i got invited to a birthday party and bought 2 cans of…read morefour loko to bring with me. unfortunately, i drank too much at the party, getting blackout drunk, moving and talking without conscious memory of doing so. first lesson, 1 four loko is plenty to intoxicate a full grown adult man. second, when attending a party hosted by someone you do not know very well, i'd suggest getting disposable cups if also bringing drinks, with the smallest size available appropriate for a high alcohol percentage drink like four loko. nonetheless, the party hosts did have cups available, though i began drinking early into the party and hesitated to ask for a cup because of a reticence of already being a guest at a house. service the service from the worker at the cash register was friendly and kind. ambiance i'd bought four loko from the store once before and remember it located in a fridge along the back wall toward the right side, about where it was again saturday, indicating continuity from when i'd shopped at the store a few years ago to last week.

They repeatedly show up to my door with the wrong beer, wrong whiskey, wrong whatever and think that just because it's a beer when I want beer or it's a whiskey when I want whiskey or it's a tequila when I want tequila, I won't know the difference. I have to spend a lot of money to Uber to other liquor stores to get the things they can't deliver and it's much harder to be able to afford to do this when I've already paid for something that I didn't want from their store. Sometimes DoorDash will help me get it back, but sometimes the app locks up and I can't review them on DoorDash. I recommend whether you can drive to the liquor, store yourself, can afford to jump in an Uber and fill your own order or try to do Liquor delivery. They just avoid the store altogether because they simply are not trying. They literally do not understand that I can tell the difference and one flavor or another. It has had it been so repeatedly and I have tried very hard to work with them, but they just don't flipping care! They would rather make a dime and then have to refund it through DoorDash then say sorry we can't bring you what you want in the first place. I do have trouble finding places to deliver and I don't drive so I have to Uber if I have to go myself and it's a hardship, but I will do it from now on because I will never use XO again. I don't know who is running this door, but it is clearly not the old staff from Jubilee Liquor. Jubilee would never have done this.

I just had the worst encounter at Harvard Liquor. I just moved into the neighborhood nearby and…read morepopped in to check out the wine selection. I'm usually pretty friendly and chatty with strangers so I said hello, then made a little joke about how they probably don't sell much wine (because they are directly across from TU, so I imagine it's more like beer and liquor sales.) The man behind the counter stood up and told me I didn't have to be rude, and to go ahead and go, and was very short with me. I asked for clarification because I was confused. He told me I "could have kept that to myself." He appeared visibly intoxicated and was aggressive. It was 6:30 pm on a Monday (today). I'm very confused by the encounter and also disappointed, as I would have loved to pop into my closest liquor store to pick up beer or wine on occasion, but I will not be returning to Harvard Liquor. ​
