For the last four weeks, when I am not around, Ken is making a habit of taking my laundry out of the dryer before it is dry. On Sunday, I put 9 quarters in the dryer for 45 minutes because the dryer was cold, I came back 40 minutes later to find my laundry in the basket all damp! There's no way laundry would be damp in that length of time. Another time, I caught him with my duvet in another dryer, the rest of my laundry was in a basket. Rather than make a scene, I put my clothes back in the dryer for 5 more minutes. I do not understand what his problem is! I would AVOID coming here from now on.

*Note: this mobile dry cleaner is partnered with Yale City Dry Cleaners*…read moreSo I have a large comforter on my bed. It's supposed to be white but, what with my dog and all, it gets grey and dingy. Being a large, puffy comforter, it's really bulky and big to carry around. Sure, it's lightweight, but it's really bulky when folded up, and big. Not the easiest thing to carry to a dry cleaner establishment. I figured I'd use one of those pick-up services (I see various dry cleaner vans driving all over my neighborhood, so I know this is a "thing" in this area). One of the many Yelp features that I love is their "request a quote" feature. Prior to using this company, I requested a quote from this company as well as three others. This company was the quickest to respond (one responded a few hours later, one the next day, and one never replied to me at all). This place had the lowest quote (although they were all within $15 from each other). And the guy who responded to me was really helpful and knowledgeable and nice. I just had a good gut feeling about this place. (Two years earlier I used another mobile dry cleaner for this same comforter and it was a disastrous experience. I really was hesitant to go down this road again - but the comforter was so dingy, it really had to be done). Long story short, this company did everything they said they would do. They responded super promptly to my emails, their lead time was super fast, the comforter came out great, and their price was lower than the other places I contacted. All in all, it was such good experience, I got a bunch of business cards for this dry cleaner and gave them to my condo concierge to distribute them, as this was an A-1 experience that I feel confident recommending to others.

I can't see how someone thinks this would be an acceptable job. My jacket is now ruined! I've added photos. I plan to find another place to see what they can do to help make it better, but sadly there's no going back from the mess of a repair. When I walked in I noted all the different colour threads, which I thought great , they'd be able to match the brown. Why on earth would you mend it with pink thread, when the jacket is brown and dusty red!?! I like using local small businesses, this time it really bit me in the ass.
