When the mill opened it was wonderful. The place could improve if the management actually held the staff to a higher standard, but as it's about to be closing I genuinely doubt it. When you ask why did the mill close? Come reference this. -inconsistency. -unhelpful, rude staff that act like I broke into their house and am asking them to serve me food from their own fridge. -food ranges from terrible to okay. -you will wait an hour on average for the simplest food. It's always sad to see a locallly owned restaurant shut down. Unfortunately something being "local" doesn't justify inferior food and service. Wish things could be different!

The shelves were adorned with an extensive collection of books, while other charming items lined the walls. Their menu offered a diverse range of dishes, catering to various tastes. As an avid Eggs Benedict enthusiast, my choice was an easy one. My companion opted for the breakfast bowl with bacon, and both dishes were exceptionally tasty, with well-balanced seasoning. I couldn't help but notice a steak sizzling on a lava rock, promising a delectable culinary experience. However, the service was slightly slow due to the restaurant's popularity. Despite the crowd, our waitress was incredibly kind and even offered an apology for any inconvenience caused. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or brunch when visiting the area.

I got a cortado, which was decent, and the empanada special (1 chicken + 1 beef) with a cup of the coconut curry miso -- the food was excellent, especially the soup. The service was good, and the ambiance is moody and quirky, with a rustic retro vibe. It's a great place to study or read a book.

Their offerings are impressive, and include a dessert spread and empanadas and other food cooked to order. They are notable for having several vegetarian and vegan items, which is not always easy to find in this part of the country or in this cuisine. They were out of some things, and notably I had to switch from a more interesting kale salad to their basic one, which had a few dodgy leaves that weren't the freshest but overall was fine. My lentil empanada was of a good size and was robustly filled. It's this sort of thing that I think of when I see places that don't offer plant-based options. It's delicious. It's recognizable, real food. Why not offer something like this? Their dessert selection included a GF vegan case with one type of muffin in it, and some more conventional and splendid looking creations that I did not have room for. My light lunch satisfied, and I'm sure dessert would have been good as well.
