Not a bad place to stop for a cup of coffee, and a small bite. It had a nice selection of drinks and a few choices for food. However i found the coffee to be a little bland in flavor, and the prices to be a little high. My bagel with cream cheese was just ok, but my wife liked her egg sandwich. The service was good but the shop was a little small, not much room to sit inside and only had a fee places to sit outside. I basically lived at FullBrooks during my work trip to Nelsonville! I was running training sessions at the Opera House a few doors down, so I popped in daily (sometimes twice - no shame). What I loved most was how everything was actually homemade. They just pick a few things to make each day - one day it was this amazing white bean and kale soup, another day a curry chicken salad stuffed in a pita. Everything tasted fresh and you could tell they really cared about the food. Such a lifesaver for a work trip, when I usually end up eating junk. We visited this cafe on our Hocking Hills trip. The bagels were really good, but the customer service was sorely lacking. The lady working the counter was not very friendly or kind. She did not seem thrilled to have us in there. We were all polite and patient and looking forward to a small bite and good coffee, but she did not seem to want us there. Upon arriving, I smiled, said hi and asked how she was doing today to which she responded "alright." This wasn't necessarily rude, but most people respond along the lines of "good, how are you?" Or something of the sort. A couple came in after our group and were treated about the same. They were asking questions about the coffee and they would receive snippy one word responses. I remember them specifically asking what type of milk they used and she just says "it comes from Kroger." They asked wha brand of almond milk they had and she just grabs the almond milk from the fridge and just shows them. They decided to leave and I don't blame them. The coffee was good, but the customer service could use some work. It's just small things that really gave an off vibe that made it seem like a not very welcoming environment. read more

Visited this coffee shop recently. its on the corner in the center of town. tried the carmel macchiato, pretty good. nice counter person. the place itself is small and had a slight odor of stale bread but otherwise cozy. read more

Chose that area of the town because of the electric car charger down the street. After plugging our electric car into the charger and walked down the main street. Looked up places to eat on the Internet and the café seem to be what we wanted. Bagels were good, egg salad on pita bread was also really good. Smoothie and hot chocolate also are tasty. read more

Decent little coffee shop with usually friendly service. Sometimes the people behind the counter seem to be void of emotion or conversation. Prices a tad high. The food is good, but the woman often prepares it without gloves, and I have found hair in my microwaved egg on my bagel sandwich. Fresh espresso and tasty specials with a good vibe in there. Would be 4 stars if they wore gloves and hairnets when preparing food. Overall, not bad. Theres no where else to get good coffee in town. read more

Cute cafe in the historical district in Nelsonville! I came here for breakfast during Nelsonville Music Festival on the suggestion of an employee that I met at the fest. Not a ton of options for food, but a tasty breakfast sandwich and a cup of coffee roasted in Athens was just what I wanted! This is a little shop- only a handful of tables, but really nice and friendly people working here. They use local ingredients and their prices are fair. Great food! Created my own sandwich, which was great: no limit to toppings which I love. Got the soup on the side (cheese tortellini) which was great and tasted like my mothers home cooked recipe.
