Our stay at Zuzanna's Seven Key's Praha 2 apartment "Relaxing Home with Terrace" was unfortunately not a good fit for our family. Seven Keys is an Airbnb property management company with over 50 units in Prague. We found all the photos stylish, but not a current representation of the state of the apartment.
We found much of the furniture in disrepair. During our stay, we navigated around several items of broken furniture, a large hole in the wall left unfixed, low quality mattresses and pillows, chipping paint, dead plants (seven trees on the balcony that were leafy green in the photos, were all long since brown and dead) a water stained couch, a messy utility closet, light bulbs not replaced, and dirty patio furniture. The original apartment appears stylish and beautiful in photos, but was not in the same condition unfortunately. Maintenance issues appear to have been left unaddressed for some time: e.g. there was a old, aged masking tape sign indicating that the only closet in the main bedroom was non-functional and could not be opened, meanwhile the broken closet door was left unsecured on the floor and propped in the corner. The flat screen TV had fallen off the wall, and was similarly propped on a small, wobbly particleboard table. Either may be safety issues for families.
The apartment was self-check in, which normally we appreciate and easily navigate. Unfortunately, in this case it was cumbersome, requiring multiple pages of instruction, two distant locations and (for us) two Uber rides to manage. Zuzanna's communication frequently incorporated all-caps, which perhaps she used for emphasis, but it left us feeling a little bit yelled at, rather than treated professionally and with hospitality. We've had good luck with past AirBnb experiences, but based on the state of the apartment and communication style, we'd pass on staying with Zuzanna or a Seven Keys managed apartment in Prague in the future. read more
