Seven Hills orthodontics not only has an amazing doctor who is knowledgeable, caring and approaches patients with a conservative precise diagnosis but the staff is equally knowledgeable, caring and professional. My 7 year old daughter has an underbite and instead of slapping hardware on her (like some ortho offices will do) the treatment is conservative and measured. I am also dealing with teeth spacing/movement after wearing braces and Invisalign (from another dental office) and Dr. Carlos Bordador will help close that gap in less then 3 months. My daughter has been seeing Dr. Carlos for 2 years. It's very hard for us to make an appointment with them. We have no chance to pick a date that works for us. We have to take whatever the day that the front counters gives you. So I have to take the day off from work every single time, and early dismissal from her school. Super inconvenience. I'm not recommended to you if you don't have flexible work schedule. We had the appointment at 2:30pm today. We arrived at 2:33pm, but last Monday the lady actually called me to reschedule it from 2:30 to 3:00, according to the previous experience, but I still tried to make it there at 2:30, but 3 mins late, the front counter told us the doctor won't see us today, cuz we are late. ( but they should give the patients a arrival grace period). She said that our appointment is at 2:30, not 3:00 pm, She was trying to reschedule 2 weeks later from today. I told her that we have been waiting for this one for a while and my daughter's bracket is loose, she needs the treatment. And she told us to wait for 2 hours in order to fix the problem. The lady told me that they are very busy, they don't have enough workers. Well, good for you, but come on! I don't need to hear this, you have to make that complaint to your boss. Even though we made the appointment, and we got there on time, we still had to wait for 30-40 mins to be see. It's ok for them to reschedule our appointment, but not ok for us. Our time is valuable too. Too bad that we can't change to a different doctor, we are in the half way already. So this is my experience, if you don't have a flexible schedule, don't choose this one. read more

I had a 5 star review up when my kids first started their treatment because they asked us to. If I remember correctly it was for some reward program they offer. So you put up a review and you get points. Well I feel compelled to rewrite my review. I had two kids in treatment at this location. One of which does not go anymore due to the staff giving wrong information about our insurance and bill to his fathers friend. Long story but your private information is not safe their. Now let's go on to my nephew. He had braces on since he was in 4th grade. I got custody of him when he was 14. The braces had not been maintained at all. I took him to seven hills Orthodontics and doctor bordador informed us that his teeth were going to look great. He actually went on to say if we did not get him a new set of braces and finish what my sister started his teeth were going to be gapped forever. With that being said. We got his braces removed and new ones put on. 1.5 years later. Doc bordador Informs me that he is either going to have two huge gaps in the front of his teeth or he can get bonding done by his dentist. He said it "should be covered by his insurance". He also tried to say he had this conversation with us when he put the braces on. This is not on the agreement I signed nor do my nephew, my wife or myself remember that ever being a conversation. I can not believe I paid almost 5k for an incomplete job. I feel like he lied to us to get another patient and thought that he would just tell us that my nephews teeth wouldn't look right at the end. Either he genuinely did not know that this was going to happen which is fine but he tried to cover it up by saying that he had this conversation with us. Like he knew the whole time. Obviously we have to finish the braces at seven hills Orthodontics but I do not recommend anyone going there. My experience was awful with two kids. I believe they only have 4.5 stars because they have people write reviews when they first start treatment and not at the end. read more

I wanted to take a moment and give a big THANK YOU and my recommendations to Seven Hills Orthodontics on Sunridge heights. Throughout the process of straightening out my sons teeth, all of the staff have been informative, helpful, supportive, and patient. When we lost a retainer, they were quick to get a replacement made and delivered. We've not waited long at all after checking in for appointments and they have been efficient in getting us in and out. Dr. Bordador has been friendly, helpful and while he works quickly no one is ever rushed. However I wish to highlight the efforts made by Ruben during our last visit. Due to a family need we had missed a duel appointment in November to remove my sons braces and get him set up with a retainer. This caused us to have to reschedule an appointment to come in, have him checked and prepared for another set of appointments to remove the braces and get a retainer. On the phone, I was advised that we would need to set up three different appointments. However, when we got into our first of the 3 appointments. Ruben advised me that he can go ahead and remove the braces today. He then advised me that it would take a few hours to make a retainer and we could come back in the afternoon to pick it up. Because I wanted my sons braces remember this appealed to me, but this has been a surprise and I was not prepared for the timing of it. I had to be to work that night and had just gotten off work earlier that morning so spending a day removing braces and killing time 18 miles from my home and my bed was not something I was looking forward to. After expressing this to Ruben, he Took a look at his schedule and his capabilities and advised that if I could give him about an hour he could adjust his workload to get the retainer made for my son. This was a welcomed relief to my schedule and fuel tank, and my son was so happy to get his braces removed. Ruben did a great job with the work and was so helpful. Dr. Bordador was also great in working with this because I'm sure he probably needed Ruben in 5 different places throughout this hour. My daughters have been receiving orthodontic care with Dr. Sean since they were 5 years old. They've had a very long journey and are FINALLY at a point where they can get their braces on. Dr. Sean has always been very upfront and honest about the entire process and the business as a whole has always been friendly. I love Dr. Sean and I cannot see myself ever taking my girls to anyone else for their orthodontic needs. At our most recent visit we were reminded about the SHO rewards program they have for the kids (an incentive to keep up with taking care of their mouths)- anyway, one of my daughters redeemed some of her rewards and we were told it takes about 1 month for the prize to actually arrive in the office. About that amount of time later we get the phone call and we're told that since she'll be in for an appointment a few days into the future (from that call) they will just leave the prize up front for her. That day comes and no prize. I was frustrated to say the least, but I get it. They needed someone from marketing to be there to retrieve it from the office- not what I was told but whatever. I'll wait for someone to call me and tell me when I'm actually able to get it. There continued to be a lot of miscommunication about when it would be ready at the front desk for pick up and I was getting a little more than frustrated. If it weren't for Sarah going out of her way to call me directly and ask when I would be able to come pick it up so she could make sure it would be at the front desk, I probably would have lost it. She really showed a lot of professionalism and understanding. Oh! And the prize was waiting at the front desk for me after Sarah made it happen. My son has been going here for almost 4 years now and we have always been treated like family. Vanessa is especially amazing at this and her kindness and will to help has been such a blessing. I have other kids and the waiting room is a plus for them as there are huge TVs with something fun always on and a separate room to play in. Everyone is very professional and they have taken my sons VERY crooked teeth (top and bottom) and overbite and turned them into a confidence building smile that at the beginning of our journey we never imagined would be possible. I came to see Dr. Bordador to get a second opinion regarding a tooth that my regular dentist advised to be pulled since there's bone loss and tooth is sinking and I've been experiencing pain on my gum. After initial appointment, looking at my mouth and taking X-rays, Dr. Bordador felt the tooth can be saved and referred me to a periodontist where he did bone graph and saved the tooth. My daughter has been going to this ortho for almost 2 yrs. we have had many difficulties with scheduling. Finally the manager Brian accommodated our schedule! Thank you Brian. My daughter has severe allergies that get triggered by strong smells. So every time she has an appt she has an allergy attack because there are at least a dozen plugins with floral scents all over the office. I spoke with a manager ( not Brian) and they brushed me off. Long wait times almost every visit make it even worse. The only thing that makes this ortho office tolerable is the manager Brian. Both of our kids have gone through Dr. Bordador's Orthodontic care. Our daughter now is 19 and our Son is 11 both started their treatments at the age of 8 throughout these past 11 years, Seven hills staff like Andrea H has been treating us like their family. Their team is very professional, courteous, and foremost accommodating. Our kids always look forward to their yearly movie event which even we attended and had lots of fun with free movie, popcorn drinks and more. My daughter started with her treatment in March and although the working being done is great scheduling is a different story. They have to many patients and it is hard to get an appointment. If they say come back in 4-6 weeks they always try to schedule you at the end (is 6 weeks) as they are fully booked until then. This over time will extend treatment unnecessarily. I constantly have to fight for an earlier appointment. Also, every single time except once they have been late by 15-25 minutes. It is frustrating. I want to get my teeth readjusted but I will look elsewhere due to the scheduling. read more
