The revolving door of managers, nurses, and receptionists do not help their poor management of client records. I participated in a few of their in-store seasonal promos and the front desk staff here verbally confirmed that they had added to my account with 2 complimentary facials for my participation, and that I would be good to use them at any time as per their overall highly-visible and marketed "no expiration" company policy. The staff never gave me any receipt nor written terms, nor did I know to ask since I greenly assumed they would be trustworthy and would have no reason to lie or shortchange me. Which then led LaserAway to deny me the facials rather than take accountability for their poor management and lack of training of staff who apparently were supposed to have responded differently by providing a receipt to me. When I tried to clear up the matter with the West Hollywood office where the staff I had fulfilled the promo deal with were based, none of the (all-new) staff were knowledgeable or helpful to figure out what their predecessors had supposedly done for my account. This experience has only shown me that their promos or offers are not legitamitely worth participating in since it is near impossible to redeem and they cannot be accountable to their word.

Beverly Hills is the same LaserAway office that sold me years ago on tons…read moreof "no expiration" packages to beat inflation etc., then later criticized me for not using my packages more timely and tried to rip me off, claiming I had nothing left in my account, and on top of that disrespectfully wasting my time by not providing me advance notice that my appointment had been canceled by them--- just a couple hours prior to the time of my appointment when I had already left for the day and was on my way; ironic, since they require 24 hrs advance notice from a client to cancel an appointment without penalty. I then sat around in the waiting room while Giau said she would look into it, only to then be told after waiting another half-hour that I wouldn't be able to be seen or have my issue looked into. Rather than take responsibility for their disorganization and unknowledeable personnel, they just point the finger from one employee to the next and send the client on a wild goose chase with no end. The manager TK claimed he would help me with my account and had scheduled me for that appointment, but later was evasive and refused to help get to the bottom of their errors, saying I would get a call back later in the day, but never calling back, then saying Giau was working on my case and would contact me that afternoon (that never happened). I was told other times by staff that Giau would call me right back the same day or the next day, only to find out later that she was on vacation for the whole week; how is it that their staff does not know when each other is on leave!? Turns out after much back and forth that they had to admit to having erroneously closed my account and had proof in their system the entire time that I had multiple services remaining, but instead of owning up to the gross error, tried to put the blame on me for not having finished the package sooner despite their "no expiration" policy. Seems the policy is just a false promise and ruse to get one to buy more, for since then I have read similar reports from other clients of their accounts being closed and being denied prepaid services because of errors committed by LaserAway.

This was my last conversation with her. After I confronted her, she unfollowed and blocked me on social media. I just wanted a refund of the $$ I paid for my nails. As a note, when I get gel-x at Ibiza Nails in WeHo, or Nail'd It in Glendale or Pasadena - those aprex gel-x last me 4-6 weeks, even when I was moving and opening boxes. I'm in love with this place. It has a really cool vibe and ambiance, very important bc I've lasered at different spas and it always felt so robotic and dry. Their receptionists make me feel welcome and are understanding. The nurses I've seen are sweet and patient with me. Prices are great, I got a free treatment for Black History Month being in February, they're setting a great example spreading nice words, like "By the Grace of God". I've seen all kinds of people there too, like Chrissy Teigen! I decided to try their juvederm injections bc why not, do not regret it bc they look bomb, impressed at what she could do in less than 15 minutes. I really want to try their alma machine for inch loss! The best part of this place is it's a one stop shop for me. They always have some kind of refreshments to offer too. Nena is my absolute favorite!!!! I have been to 2 Sev locations and have had a handful of different RN's for each of my appointments, she by far is the best!!! She always makes sure I'm comfortable, she remembers our conversations from previous appointments because she genuinely cares about her clients and she is by far the most thorough. She takes her time to make sure you get the best results before coming back for your next appointment. And this is only a small detail, but I have tattoos on my thighs close to the Brazilian area. She is the only RN who has ever had me cover them with a cloth to protect them while she is doing the laser. Again, small detail but that's what makes her great! I love Sev!!! I have always had the best experience here and am so glad I chose Sev. The staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Nena has been my nurse for the last 4 sessions, and I always am pleased to see her call my name for my session!! She is the sweetest and is always interested in chatting with me while I try to stay distracted from the laser! It makes the session go by so quickly! She also remembers that she's worked with me before, which is amazing based on the fact that she probably sees hundreds of people between our sessions every 4 weeks. I can't express how frustrated I am with Sev Laser. I scheduled an appointment weeks in advance, only to have it canceled at the last minute. This isn't the first time; I experienced a similar situation back in November, and clearly, nothing has improved since then. It's incredibly difficult to adjust plans on such short notice, especially given my busy schedule. The lack of communication and professionalism is disappointing. It feels like they don't value their clients' time at all. If you're seeking a dependable service, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Got my first laser appointment last month. I was paired with a woman who was in training. She did not get my full Brazilian. She marked the pubic line way too low. There is a clear strip of where she did not laser and around the sides. I've had experience with laser before/ waxed and everything. They have never marked it as low as she did. The laser was effective but the overall satisfaction, I did not have. I will give it one more chance and make my final decision if I want to continue. read more

I travel from San Francisco to see Erin every month for her to bless my eyebrows. It's only 50 bucks. And that is cheap! Being in Beverly Hills. She is the best. I never see my eyebrows shaped so perfectly for my face. She's professional and the place is just comfortable to be in. So, I've come to love SEV. I think the business model is brilliant, and they clearly care about their customers. However, the nurse who attended to me today (Indiera) was rather abrasive and rude for no apparent reason. Indiera has the bedside manner of a drill sergeant on a bad day. What makes it more concerning is that she had a trainee in the room. I hope she doesn't pass down that same gruff energy. read more

Honestly, this was one of the worst med spa experiences I've ever had…read more I'm a busy working mom of a 2-year-old toddler, and making time for appointments is extremely difficult for me. I arrived on time and was left waiting for almost 50 minutes, only for my appointment to suddenly be CANCELLED . The explanation I was given was honestly shocking. I was told I could not receive the laser facial because my moisturizer "contains acids" (which actually don't) and that I would need to wait TWO WEEKS before being treated. The cream in question is a basic barrier repair moisturizer containing ingredients like hyaluronic acid and fatty acids, common hydrating and skin barrier ingredients found in countless moisturizers, including products often recommended after cosmetic procedures and laser treatments. Calling these ingredients "unsafe acids" showed a very concerning LACK OF EDUCATION and professionalism from someone performing cosmetic laser treatments! And if this truly is their policy, then clients should absolutely be warned BEFORE the appointment that they must stop using products containing hyaluronic acid or similar ingredients for two weeks. Most skincare products and moisturizers today contain these ingredients, so this is not some unusual or rare situation. None of this was mentioned while booking, during confirmation, or even while I sat there waiting almost an hour. The entire situation felt extremely disorganized and honestly more like an excuse for running behind schedule than a legitimate medical concern. There are many professional laser clinics in Los Angeles, and unfortunately this location did not inspire confidence, professionalism, or trust. I will definitely not be returning.

She was confident and gentle at the same time. I had enough downtime to recover after the procedure with some miracle mask that helped a lot with redness and heat. I also got detailed post-care instructions as a follow up text, which was helpful and thoughtful, and someone followed up with me on the next day. The office was small, but very clean, organized, and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and professional. I must note competitive pricing - especially for the area. Overall, really great experience and I will be back for more.

They do a ton more which I'm sure I'll utilize, but for now - smooth forehead is my objective. It was super easy to find the office and they have free parking in a garage under the medical building. In LA, free parking is so appreciated. The staff was incredible from the desk to the injector. I was warmly greeted, treated so well the entire, really good vibes. Plus, the office is super cute, loved the decor, and obsessed with whoever was in charge of the playlist when I went in lolz. The process was simple, smooth, and easy for a great price.
