To the Manager/Owner, your front desk staff would benefit from a consistency training session. Never had an experience where I walk through the door and am asked from where they're sitting "checking in?" without making any eye contact as I yell from across the lobby my name, "fill these forms out" still no eye contact, "you're checked in" no eye contact and back to their cell phone. So I guess there is consistency in the fact each one seems to do that... OR imagine the customer walking up, they make eye contact off their phone and ask "how can I help you?". Praise for the NPs or Nurses who suggest trying something new or other areas of focus as the front I have yet to be asked. The front literally is there like a check out kiosk. Wish there were reminding texts messages about shaving the day before. As a busy work mom of 3, I'd save your poor staff time from me forgetting to shave and having to do it there. Lastly, those chairs in the lobby are very awkward and uncomfortable. read more

What was most disappointing was that after escalating my concerns to management, I still did not feel that meaningful solutions, alternatives, or individualized consideration were provided. The area manager was unable to provide clarity regarding how this membership realistically fits someone who has already completed multiple prior sessions and instead directed me back toward the contract without addressing the concerns themselves. My frustration is not simply about the contract itself--it is about feeling like my individual circumstances, treatment history, and concerns were not genuinely considered during either the consultation process or after attempting to resolve the issue. My advice: Ask a lot of questions before signing, especially if you have already had previous laser sessions. Make sure you fully understand whether the package being recommended actually fits your treatment needs before committing. What is most frustrating is feeling like there was little willingness to work with me or find a reasonable solution despite raising concerns before services even began. It is difficult to understand how financing payments can be accepted upfront through PatientFi before treatment starts, while customers who raise legitimate concerns are left without meaningful alternatives or solutions. read more

When I apologized for not knowing, I was asked, 'Don't you have a credit card or something?' in a tone that felt condescending and unprofessional. I understand businesses have policies, and I had no issue finding another way to pay. What bothered me was the way I was spoken to. When she stated they've been cashless for two years, I explained that I wouldn't know that because I've only visited once before, but the attitude continued. First of all, this place has a beautiful waiting room. It's so cute and relaxing. I want my bedroom to look like their waiting room lol. I was referred here by a friend who had been going here for a while for treatment on various areas. I have had laser done before and the experience I had here is way better. The results were jaw dropping. They do it way different here. The customer service over the phone is great and they explain everything so thoroughly. A nurse calls you ahead of your first appointment to triage you and advise what to do and what not to do. It's way different from other experiences and nothing compares. Been a faithful client for several years. The service is great and the products work faithfully. However, their policies change far too frequently, without notice, and for having such a strict scheduling system , late fee and rescheduling charge fee/ this location is notoriously always running later than appointed times, which I have witnessed to be inconvenient to multiple parties including myself. We should not be charged a fee to reschedule if our nurse is not ready to call us at the appointment time. read more

This is the 2nd time l scheduled an appointment and it was cancelled before l arrived at my appointment and was automatically charged a no show fee. My appointment was scheduled for 1:55 and Sev took upon themselves to change my appointment time to 1:50 without my consent. On my route to my appointment l get a text at 1:38 telling me my nurse is ready for me at 1:56 l get a text telling I'm being charged a no show fee. I walked into my appointment at 1:56 and the receptionist says we cancelled you for no show and charged you a no show fee. I went off on her and showed her the series of text messages with my original appointment time of 1:55. Just had my fifth session, must say I'm loving laser hair removal! This place is very pretty inside. The front desk girls are always nice when checking you in. Never a long wait. The nurses are always great, make you feel comfortable. The room is always clean and sterile. The laser itself stings a bit, but not terrible. It's a LOT less painful then waxing and so much faster. I just came with my best friend, she came for the special 3 small areas for 35.00 so because she only decided to do two areas they charge her 65.00 instead because she didn't want to do the third area. So if I order a burger fries and Combo for 8.99 but I decided I don't want the fries should I be charged 25.00 instead? this makes no sense yes that is the reason I why I never came back here. They took my money and my sesión didn't last for more than 30 seconds. I was supposed to get a full Brazilian but decided I only wanted the panty line and because of that I was charged more. Math teachers please Explain this logic because I just don't get it. I believe you are confusing my friend with someone else because my friend was just there today. I was going to SEV laser for a while for my Brazilian laser hair removal. Ives always like the place. It's nice, inviting and the prices are affordable. Last year around September I went in as usual for my Brazilian laser session and unfortunately I had a terrible experience. The nurse burned my mon's area so bad. I immediately called the office and reported the issue. I was able to get a refund for my service and spoke with a nurse named Mariah who followed up with me several times to check on me. The burns were very painful and took about 2 weeks to heal. The day it happen I rushed home and immediately had to place an ice pack on it. I was unable to get off the couch for the rest of the day because of the pain. I had bad scabbing once healed and now have a burn scars. I know there is risk with these procedures but Ives gotten laser for many years in different areas and never experienced anything like this. Just a heads up to anyone thinking of coming here for laser service. When i reported incident, I was told that the nurse who did my laser that day would be retrained. The thought of knowing that she would be working or doing Laser on someone else or even myself is a big red flag and I decided to move on and find a more trustworthy place to get my laser hair removal. read more

I'm literally sitting and waiting in the lobby trying to get a hold of sevs nurse practitioner or doctor. When I walked in to my appointment the nurse asked me if if I was taking antibiotics, I said I had. a week and a half ago. She had explained to me that she couldn't take me, I drove an HOUR with a busy schedule. I don't get sick, thank god. But with that being said I didn't know if Norcos were not actually an antibiotic. Yes I'm slow for that but the least the nurse could've done was ask for more information. Or have a list of things that aren't acceptable. (Front desk girl is very sweet though!) My appointment was at 2:50. It's now 4pm. The nurse called me to clear me but I guess management didn't. I value peoples time but my time was definitely not valued. I can't explain enough how much I love coming to Sev. I stumbled upon Sev after growing tired of expensive sessions at other medical spas that yielded little to no results. Just one session in, I already noticed a huge difference!! All the nurses are so kind and they take the time to make sure the setting is right before lasering each section. i need a last minute appointment and was stressing about missing a session and the receptionist i spoke to was so nice. she put me on the waiting list and called me in a couple of hours saying there was a cancellation and gave me an appointment for the next day!! I'm really trying to give this location a chance but they make it very difficult.. Ever since I started to go to this location something always happens with my appointment. First time it had to get cancelled due to construction (no problem, I understood) I was told it would be about two week until they opened again.. I was able to rescheduled without a problem. This happened twice.. by the time I was actually able to go in for my appointment it was well over a month since my original date. That following apt (the one I rescheduled due to construction x2) gets cancelled once again because one of the nurses had an emergency. Today I received a text notification stating there was a scheduling error and my apt got pushed back 10 min. Not that I mind because its just 10 mins, but its starting to become really frustrating given that something always seems to happen with my appointment.. I think we can all agree getting an appointment at Redlands and especially Ranchos location is a pain and need to be made months in advance. Not to mention Redlands location is still a drive for me after work and given that my appointments keep getting rescheduled/cancelled because of SEV themselves is really inconvenient. read more

SEV Laser is the bomb!!! I've had 3 treatments so far on total legs and bikini area. I've always been hairy like a man. My legs are completely bald now. This is life changing for me because I always have worn pants and long dresses due to the amount of body hair I have had all my life. I went in for a laser hair removal session and I was so freakin nervous. I had never done anything like this and with so many horror stories I've heard about laser hair removal I was skeptical. My sister in law referred me to this place and RAVED about it. I booked an appointment right away. Everything was so thorough, professional and really easy to book! Upon arrival, the lobby is so clean and chic and the woman at the front desk was really sweet. I waited about minute before being called back by Mariah. We went over a few things and she walked me through everything like, what I should expect to feel, some after care tips, or answered any of my dozen questions I had. Not only did she make me feel comfortable, I DIDN'T FEEL A THING. You do feel some warmth every now and then but not uncomfortable, the machine blows out lots of cold air so you hardly feel it. I got the Brazilian and it literally took MAYBE 10 minutes. I booked my second session ASAP.
