I just had my first appointment with Dr. Hodgkin. Oh my gosh! I was so incredibly impressed! Everyone is very nice and the doctor himself is very thorough. As a teenager I did a lot of sunbathing without sunscreen and my back really took a toll. I have been to a couple of dermatologists before and all they ever did was quickly look at my back and say everything looked fine. I would leave feeling uncertain that I had a good exam. But not so today! Lian was took her time examining my entire body and marking anything that might be suspicious. This had ever been done by other offices. She explained everything and gave me a pamphlet to review as she explained. She was so kind! When the doctor came in he re-examined everything and then made a decision what they were going to biopsy. I had a wonderful experience during my appointment. I had two doctors enter my room, Dr. Hodgkin and Dr. Herrick, both were very kind and calm which gave me peace of mind during my appointment. I went in for a skin biopsy on a mole near my eye and they walked me through everything and were very thorough. Dr. Hodgkin was very helpful and knowledgable in answering additional questions about other issues I was experiencing. To top it of, my scab has fallen off and the healing of the scrape is amazing!!! They did an amazing job of taking care to remove and and aesthetically preserve. Highly recommend! read more

I have been going to this office for a couple of years now. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but as others have said, when it is your turn you get all the time and attention needed. I have some very difficult skin issues, (sometimes there are 3 doctors in the room brainstorming!) nothing has helped significantly so far, but they are persistent and optomistic, diligently striving to finding a remedy for me, while encouraging me upbeat and hopeful. Dr. Chil-lum is truly an artist! She has been my dermatologist for 7 years, and I trust her completely. I am always beyond satisfied with my results, and the whole staff is friendly and professional. She also offers great specials on combo treatments. As a bonus, she was really good with my "difficult patient" husband when he needed some moles removed! I have always found the front desk staff to be helpful, friendly and courteous. I have never had to wait very long to be called back. read more

Hodgkins needs to relearn how to diagnose his patients better, this is my third time to a dermatologist and by far the worst. He did not do any type of skin test like the others did, he asked a few questions and tried to prescribe me a $1000 dollar cream. This place is amazing. I came here in January because for the past 8 months I was breaking out - almost every single day. After trying generic brands as well as name brands like Noxema, Clean & Clear, ProActive and not getting results I finally gave up trying and came here. Building: Exceptionally clean. 5 stars for that. Staff: Incredibly nice. Been here 2x and have great attitudes. After meeting with the doctor, she recommended a few prescriptions (by few i mean 4 total) and i thought it was excessive, but I tried it to the T and guess what... I am almost rid of all my acne. And since I have been on my medication, I have yet to breakout and the scarring is almost all gone. Not only that, yes the prescriptions were expensive but what i loved was that the doctor gave me discount cards to use everytime i need to refill which saved me a large amount if you consider the total (i paid $80 for all four meds which without the cards would've cost me over $250). Not only that but I saw my Dr. almost 2 months after and she remembered me and even the conversation we had - which i love because it definitely makes me feel more at home and more of a connection with my Dr. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering going to a dermatologist. read more

Dr. Hodgkin has been taking care of my skin for several years now. I have annual skin checks and as I age, Dr. Hodgkin has done miracles for my skin. I am 58 years and he keeps me looking "like my daughters sister". I have not had any surgical procedures at all and don't need them yet. He has a unique ability to see where the signs of aging are going to affect your looks and has the tools to put off the aging. I get compliments on my skin all the time. Dr. Hodgkin is great and his staff are all sweet and helpful. If I have to wait a few more minutes, no problem because never once has he rushed me out, he takes his time to do whatever he's doing on a particular day to do it right and to perfection and his staff keep coming in to see how things are and let me know what to expect. I feel fresh and beautiful when I leave Dr. Hodgkin's office. I would suggest anyone try him at least once, you'll love him. read more

Dr. Hodgkin and Dr. Herrick have both treated my damaged skin problems. I found their diagnosis and treatment very successful. The office staff are pleasant and efficient in gathering information needed for insurance and the waiting time to see the doctor is minimal (5-10 minutes). My ultimate favorite office as of yet!!! Dr. Hodgkin is super knowledgable!! I went in today and felt at home. The office is gorgeous, the staff was so personable, I have now found my dermatologist forever! Dr. Herrick was so cool and there was a PA, Jennifer, that I like too. I met everyone just in case I'd have to have an appointment when Dr. Hodgkin isn't in. I like offices that are accommodating and willing to actually know their patients so I can go in without having to discuss the same thing over and over. I went in for an issue I constantly have (no, I'm not going to tell you), then as I roamed around I discovered their lavish room where they have mineral make up!! After applying I ended up getting make up, too! My medication ended up being free so it was cool to actually go to an office and decide to spend my money how I wanted! Highly recommend! Never have I had a great experience seeing a doctor like I did today. I'll be back, guys!! and perhaps I'll get some laser?? Who knows! Gotta stay young!! read more

Unless you have no other plans for the day because the wait is so long and don't mind service without a greet or smile it's great. This will be my last time here. Two visits and both were not good. Both of my appointments were at 8am, I waited 1 hour for the first before being called back and 45 minutes for the second. Then waited another 15-20 in the room before seeing the doctor. Don't expect a friendly smile from the front desk, nurse that calls you back, or the doctor(s). The doctor(s) rushed through both visits/procedures and I didn't even receive post op instructions after what was performed?! I don't expect a red carpet to be rolled out by any means, but a smile and maybe a little get to know you talk before cutting into me would be nice. I'd highly recommend trying someone else in the area. read more

Had a 3 o'clock appointment, only one other person in the office. They had me waiting for 1/2 hour and the doctor still did not come in. Had to get back to work so when I leave doctor and assistant are just chatting in the hallway. Not professional people have schedules too. If you can't see a patient at a certain time then tell them otherwise. Would not recommend. read more

Went in for hands peeling, without telling me what the price was going to be they prescribed me cream over $1200. I received two other opinions and they both said I can use different creams for under $50.00 for the same problem. Comparing the other two places I went to, Dr. Hodgkin is EXTREMELY OVER PRICED even with the insurance...Don't waste your money and go somewhere else, plenty of other reasonably priced doctors in Redlands. read more
