DO NOT book an appointment with the PA Claudia! I have had her as my provider a handful of times and she is RUDE, CONDESCENDING, and UNPROFESSIONAL. I honestly don't understand how she has any positive reviews, because I know a handful of other people who have seen her and have had similar experiences as me. She speaks to her patients like they are idiots. She is extremely rough with everything she does, and makes caring for me feel like a hassle that she is forced to endure. For example, the very first time I saw her and she was freezing something off my leg, I asked if it would hurt because it was new for me and I was quite scared. In response, she scoffed, rolled her eyes, and said "there's nothing I do that doesn't hurt." I have finally had enough and am going to look for a new dermatologist because I can't support a business that employs someone like that. I definitely recommend going somewhere else where the providers actually treat you with respect and not like you're just a money grab. read more

Honestly, I haven't had anything but good experiences here. I've been seen by Dr. Trinkle and one of the PAs, who people seem to really not like on Yelp. To be honest, he is a veteran, and he just kind of gets down to business, so if you want someone who is chatty, ask for someone else. I was referred by a family member to Claudia Salcedo, who works in this office. Thanks to a last- minute cancelation, I was able to get in the next day. Claudia Salcedo is professional and knows what she's doing. She answered my questions, removed a suspicious mole, and zapped a couple other marks all in one visit. But first I want to say that the PA I saw on my first visit I think her name was Grace and her scribe were both wonderful, kind, empathetic and listened to me about my ongoing skin problem. Grace wrote a prescription and my condition has cleared up! YAY! BUT I scheduled an appointment to have lip filler with PA JON POLING as I was told he had many years of experience.. I was advised to come in at 7:30 AM for an 8 AM appointment which I did. At 7:35 numbing cream was applied to my lips and I sat there until approximately 8:25. Eventually Jon showed up...I mentioned how long I had been waiting and he said he was stuck in traffic. I wish someone had informed me there would be a delay but OK things happen. I attempted to explain what my issue was but he never acknowledged my concerns. He said he didn't like numbing cream because it creates a slight swelling. He then proceeded to hand me one ice cube and said, "Pretend you are making love to it!" YES that is what he said to me!!!! I should have gotten up and left but I had waited so long and I was so shocked at this comment I just sat there. He then proceeded to apply the injectable and it was the MOST PAINFUL experience I have had for a non medical procedure! I have had lip fillers twice before in Chicago and it wasn't anywhere as horrifying as this experience!! ´I was crying and clenching my fists and was gagging I was in so much pain. I NEVER experienced this type of pain, this was excruciating! Jon showed no empathy nor did he stop and let me rest. I should have listened to my gut feeling and walked out at the " make love " to the Ice cube comment! ( I have given birth to a ten pound baby and have had a tattoo on my finger...so I am not a wimp but a pretty tough cookie!) There is much more to this disturbing story but I will stop here! What I will say is that I am appalled that this man is allowed to be let anywhere near a patient or a needle! read more

One of her employees prescribed me a medicine for acne and forgot to mention im supposed to take it twice a day. I came back for another check up, and she started yelling at me being so rude, i couldn't believe it was happening. She said "its common sense" and basically calling me stupid, and never even apologized for it. I complained to Ingrid Trenkle about her employee, and she said "well how is she supposed to say it?". I have had Botox here three times. The first time was with Dr Trenkle and she did a good job. The second time was with a PA and the work was very unbalanced but I went back and she corrected it. This last time it was again completely unbalanced and worse, she gave me a total eyebrow ptosis on one side significant enough that I can't open my eye all the way. It's not the end of the world but it's uncomfortable and makes me feel self conscious. I would not have posted a review, it's a known complication, but I have NEVER had anyone cause this before. I scheduled a consultation to have doctor look at neck and chest to provide me with cost for the treatments. I checked in and was with a person (not doctor) for about 10 min she diagnosed me which I already knew what I had because Kaiser dermatologist already diagnosed me, I just wanted a cost for the treatment. She told me cost for treatment which was way more than I thought it would be and i couldnt afford, so I left. A month later I got a bill for $100, I called and their billing dept and asked why i was being billed, she said for consultation there was a fee of $100, I explained I was not told that when booking or when I showed up for appt because if they would have told me I would not have made the appt since all I needed was the cost for the treatment. I am very upset and felt that should have been disclosed up front when I scheduled the appt. So know I have to pay $100 to them for nothing!! read more

Jon Poling PA is a horrible PA. Worst experience I've EVER had with a non doctor. If I were Dr. Trenkle i would not want someone that exerts his kind of mannerism and demeanor working for my company PERIOD. This man has ZERO bedside manner and was completely disrespectful and belittling. He had the audacity to tell me multiple times "don't get your hopes up" when I was trying to get clearance for my eczema for the military. He felt the need to reiterate several times that he was a retired veteran and that he "knows" that they will not accept me. After telling him that I am already in the process of enlisting and that my recruiter and a doctor from MEPS had both said that I could get this waived, he still felt the need to keep shutting me down and try to make his opinions my destiny. He made me feel small, telling me "they won't accept you" several times even after I completely stopped talking out of humiliation. He then decided to ask me why I wanted to join and after giving my honest answer he then told me that i should probably give up my hopes of even joining because there's no way they would ever let people like me in. After being completely dissatisfied and frankly even angry with my visit, I made another appointment at a more professional practice the same day with an ACTUAL licensed dermatologist and MD the same day and she completely cleared me for the military. read more

I had a very thorough exam about all my skin and general health concerns. I meet with a PA. RAD guy. I got a sample of a skin antibiotic, an oral medication, and a lotion. Do NOT recommend. The treatment appointment itself was rushed, they got me in/out as quickly as possible. They did NOT wait enough time for the numbing cream to take effect before the procedure began so it was more painful than it should have been. When she started treatment it took about 10 minutes tops & she acted annoyed when I asked her questions. I paid my copay and left. I then received a bill afterwards which I felt was too high so I called to clarify concerning my bill. The woman I spoke with was rude and condescending. She spoke down to me as if it wasn't possible for me to comprehend their cash price vs how they charge as much as possible when you provide your insurance to them ("Karen" -I get it). Took care of my balance to be done with them and will NOT go back. I will NOT spend my hard earned $ to patronize an office that does not appreciate my business when there are alternative offices that understand customer service. read more

Overall, my experiences here have been pretty good. Dr. Trenkle put me on accutane for my acne, and my skin has been much healthier ever since! However, I have had some issues with the office concerning lab work. Every month I have to get a urine test to renew my accutane prescription. Last month I called to verify if they had received my lab results, and they said they hadn't. When I called again, I was told they had actually received my results a whole week ago, but by that time I was forced to get the lab work done again. This resulted in me being off the accutane medication for 2 weeks, and my acne worsened significantly in that time period. TL;DR, Dr. Trenkle gets the job done, but there will be annoying hiccups read more
