Until that day. I got my temporary ones which I was told that the permanents would be like them just with more teeth in them. That made me happy because they were not too bad. Felt a bit big but looked nice. I have to say they were nothing alike. The permanent ones were huge horse teeth with an overbite. To say I looked horrible was an understatement. I ask them why they were so different and they said because they used a different lab. I had them make a new set and the dentist said she called the lab and the manager was going to make them personally. They came out even worse. I told them I hated them that I could not even open my mouth enough to put a straw to drink much less food. I was gif, try them for a week and you'll get use to them. Mind you I haven't been back since. They started making me feel like it was my fault and that I was just a complainer. To this day a year later I still have no teeth. It's made me lose my confidence, don't want to visit people and very depressed. Not one time have they called me and ask if I was ok. We'll now I'm paying out of pocket to go to Aspen. To real professionals that will get my teeth looking normal. They act like they care but if they did they would've made me look like myself and stopped giving me a bunch of excuses to why I HAVE to look like this for the rest of my life. The pictures here are in order of my life. First younger with my own smile, then with teeth but they need to be pulled so my mouth is not open but at least I could close my mouth. Then the temporary teeth that I could've lived with. Not too bad. THEN new huge HORSE teeth with a smile and last my rested mouth showing that my lips would not even shut down over them. All the staff was kind and good at explaining any questions and concerns. Above all Dr Scruggs was so kind and had a very calming demenor about him. The office is easy to locate in Texas City across from the regions bank. I suggest park in the back by turning down 25th and be picked up in the back because that is where you will exit after aving to be sedated. As far as price goes, I'm not too sure how it would rank seeing how I am self pay and never had to pay without insurance before. Be assured they DO take insurance, though. They take cash, and will do credit card over the phone and as far as financing they use Care Credit, which you have to apply for online. Either way it is well worth your money. The surgery took all of 30 minutes for 1 tooth and I didn't even feel the IV go I to my hand because he uses a method of numbing the area the needle goes. Neatest thing I have ever seen. I have bad anxiety and he talked to me and calmed me down by taking my mind off of it all. The best thing about this office is that they called me later that night to check on me! They told me if I had any questions or concerns to call ANYTIME, day or night even if it's a weekend and they will help me. Now the follow up appointment was a complete different story. He talked down to me and was rude and unprofessional. He spent a total of 2 minutes checking my mouth and after having to wait after him to do surgery to ask questions, he came in and yelled at me (where everyone in the waiting room could hear him) for 5 minutes, if not longer! I left there crying and in pain and not knowing why. He is nice as long as he has your money. But the follow up appointments doesn't cost anything bc it's included. He spent little time with me and was awful!

I don't think I have ever experienced such excellent, quality dentistry...and I have had a huge amount done including root canals, implants, veneers and Invisalign. I only wish I'd had Dr. Bove for all my previous work. the crown he put in looks so much better than my last provider did just a bit over 2 years ago (it had never felt or looked right and previous dentist just kept saying it was fine). All of the techs and hygienists at Bayview are fantastic too. The front staff is welcoming and I feel like I'm a valued customer every time I am there. We did try 2 other high rated dentists in the area before we found Dr. Bove. 1 completely bilked us on my husbands crown which failed in less than an year and the other was just plain rude and uncaring. I can tell you those big chains will bilk you every time. I cannot say enough great things about Bayview Dental. It's a further drive for us than many others but I would drive over an hour for this kind of superior care every time.
