Old school private Harley Davidson repair shop. They also work on all the old stuff, shovel heads, pan heads, knuckles heads etc. Larry is a great guy, knows his stuff. Took my bike in, gave me an estimate, got it a couple days later and it cost less then the estimate. They only take cash so be warned. But that minor inconvenience is well worth it. I look my bike in for a leak in the transmission/primary area. They got the leak fixed along with clutch basket replacement, and a few other things. For the amount of work it was priced fairly. What really stood out to me was after 500 miles it started leaking again. Not a lot like before but nonetheless it started leaking again. I called Larry told him my issues and he said to bring it in. He called me a few days later and said they should've replaced a seal but didn't and now the bike is ready to go, free of charge. It's hard to find honest people now a days, especially mechanics. I needed some welding done to my frame to fix the mount for the kickstand return spring, so I searched google and came up with Settle Motorcycle repair - thank you Google!! I called Larry, told him my problem and he told me to bring the bike by his shop the next day at noon. I had a carb problem and an intermittently sticking rear brake on my 95 Low Rider. I have been doing business with another shop for years but they really let me down on my carb issue so based on the recommendation of someone I came here. Larry and his shop are way old school. He's a no BS guy who will give it to you straight. He listened to my issues and told me he'd call me. A few days later I got the call and went in to pick it up. Carb issue? Solved. Rear brake issue? Solved. Price of service? Pretty reasonable. And like I said, no BS or overselling. Went there to get a tire placed onto a rim, told him I didn't know much about bikes but I was building one because I got into UC San Diego and needed a bike for college. He began to give me prices and then kind of halfway insulted me by asking me if I knew Math to add and subtract what he was saying. He finally told me the price which would be 155 for a new tire and to place it on the rim.. He then told me I could save $75 if I ordered one and waiting till Wednesday which was two days away. On Wednesday he calls me and tells me I could come pick it up, it's done $121 so I drive over thinking there must be a mistake in the price cause it's 34 dollars less then 155 not 75 dollars savings he then tells me to my face that the last tire was 130 and this one was 75 so when I asked why there was a 55 dollar price difference with the tires and why the final price only went down 34 dollars instead of 55 dollars he tells me to leave his property... Maybe this guy does give good service but if you don't pay attention to what he says i bet he's ripping you off blind every time and lying to your face.... this happened to me a little over a year ago but i forgot to place a review on here and only put one on google reviews read more

Larry is a stand up guy. Does what he says he will do. He gave me a price up front and a turnaround time. He changed a rear tire on my Heritage. Good service, prices and kept his word. Solid. Came back and he put apes on my 14 Road King and changed all the fluids. Again, good job. Not a HD repair shop with lights n posters n all that crap. A lil messy for my taste but I could care less if the work is solid and the price is right. He is a rare breed these days. No hustle or bullshit. Just straight up no frills no nonsense get the job done kind of guy. Just know that he is not the chatty kathy blow smoke up yer arse kinda guy. He's the "this is what you need, this is how much it'll cost and this is when it'll be done...gimme your keys" kinda guy. Only knock I would have is that it has the problem that some smaller shops do which is turnaround time.
