There is calm music playing in the reception area which I think is a nice touch and adds to the "spa" feel. I loved the results of my first microdermabrasion and am looking forward to my next visit.

I had an incredibly disappointing and painful experience at El Centro Dermatology and Laser Center…read more I came in for a PRP hair treatment, a procedure I've undergone more than 60 times at various establishments. Unfortunately, this was by far the most painful experience I've ever had, accompanied by excessive bleeding that I've never encountered before. The procedure was performed by a nurse whose qualifications were not disclosed, and there was no doctor present during the treatment. The nurse used a larger needle than what I've seen in previous procedures, and her technique felt imprecise--she injected straight into the scalp rather than at an angle, as I've seen experienced doctors do. I could literally hear the needle penetrating my scalp, which was alarming. The excessive pain and bleeding prompted me to return to the clinic immediately after the procedure, seeking assistance and clarification. When I finally spoke to the doctor, he was dismissive and defensive, insisting the situation was "normal." My concerns about the amount of bleeding and pain were met with frustration rather than empathy. To make matters worse, the doctor abruptly suggested refunding my money and refusing to see me again, implying that my concerns were solely about finances--which they were not. The receptionist was equally unprofessional and rushed the process, showing no regard for my well-being or my wife's worries. This entire experience left me feeling unheard, uncared for, and extremely disappointed in the clinic's lack of professionalism and patient care. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone considering a PRP procedure. If you value professionalism, proper technique, and compassionate care, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Update, as a response to the owner's comment: how dare you say I wanted more money? I never even asked for any money back. I asked for the doctor's assistance because I was feeling very bad, I was bleeding a lot, and I started feeling dizzy. Doctor Mani came to see me and instead of providing any medical help, he started saying he will refund my money. I explained it's not about the money, and he said "of course it is" and left me unattended, telling the receptionist he never wants to see me again in his clinic. He didn't even try to see if I am ok or not. I was never rude to your staff or nurse. Everything was perfect, we made lots of conversation, I complimented your clinic and the reviews. But all took a bad turn when the nurse, Bianca, started doing the treatment. I can't know for sure, but I believe she had little to no experience. I have done the procedure over 60 times and this never happened to me. She butchered my scalp. I am pretty sure she used the wrong needle, and she also did not enter the scalp in an angle. Lydocane helps with the pain, not with the bleeding, and the problem was not the pain, but rather that I was bleeding a lot. She even said it during the treatment, nervously "oh, wow, you are a bleeder". Her hands were full of blood, I was literally dripping blood, to the point that I started being dizzy and my hands were cold and shaking. I came back for a doctor's attendance, not for the money, and I definitely did not ask for more and threaten to post bad reviews if you don't pay me more. You should be ashamed to call yourself a doctor... If anyone here ever had a scalp PRP, you tell me if your scalp has ever bled like this. Mine sell definitely hasn't.
