Just completed a weekend retreat of leaders from a local San Diego church. Rough Acres offered and delivered a place where a large group of men came together, that not only completed the purpose for the retreat, but all left so refreshed and relaxed, due to the accommodations at Rough Acres. As a group we've been to all of the retreat facilities throughout San Diego county, and Rough Acres lands in our top 3 experiences. All the rooms were furnished with comfortable beds, not bunks. Each room had its own shower and closet, with modern furniture and plenty of storage space. Rough Acres is equipped with a commercial kitchen and accessories, which we used to make all of our meals for the group. What a difference having that kitchen available, we were able to serve meals, where all the men could be served and eat at the same time, great convenience.
