I questioned what was done and they assured me everything was taken care of. The smell was so bad after they left, we called another company to clean, disinfect, and treat for mold - all of which should have been done by this company. I feel misled and was unaware of the everything that should have been done. We incurred another large expense because this company cut corners and didn't do sufficient work to remedy the situation. After 3 months of waiting for them to complete repairs, I decided to hire a new contractor and told them I only want them to fix what they broke. At that point, I was informed that per their policy, they are not required to fix what they broke. They then told me that they would give me a quote for them to fix what they broke. I find that quite ridiculous that I should have to pay for the damage they caused.

They wouldn't even take phone calls from the detective and the police department. In addition to employing thieves, they obviously do not drug test either; one or two of the employees smelled of weed each morning showing up. The Servpro NW Charlotte location should be shut down.

I contracted Servpro to pump out my Dad's basement on 01/08/2020. Although the team they sent was…read morevery nice they clearly didn't understand what they were doing and the work ultimately took 2.5 hours longer that needed. Upon arrival the team estimated that the project would take approximately 1 hour. 2 hours late there had been minimal progress and they assured me it would only take an hour more. After another hour and a half I checked on them again to find that half of the water still remained and that the team had not been monitoring the hose allowing it to flow only 1/3 submerged and thus not pumping at full capacity. At this time I when into the basement with the hose and full submerged it by the sunk-pump. Within an hour the remaining half of the water was drained. Servpro charged me a total of 5 hours for the job despite the fact that I had to instruct their team and perform 1/2 of the work myself. I requested that they only charge 2.5 hours give the lack of quality form the crew and the fact that I had to perform 1/2 the work myself. Servpro said their charges were fair and that they had to empty their water tank over 100 times (as documented via email). This is illogical as it takes approx 5-10 minuets to empty the tank which would mean the spend between 8 - 16 hours to empty the tank and the team was onsite only 5 hours. I'll be filling an additional complaint with their Corporate office as well as the better business bureau. I personally have no problem paying for the 2.5 hours it should have taken for their services, I have a problem paying for their lack of training and for work I did myself.
