I had a fantastic experience with Servpro and was recommend to Servpro by two friends who had also used them. They put me at ease during an extremely stressful situation. I had a sewage backup that occurred in my condo bathroom and HVAC drain. I called Servpro at about 7pm (Monday) and the project manager immediately called me back at 830pm that same evening and was willing to travel to me to assess the damages that same night. I scheduled the assessment the next morning and the project manager was able to accommodate my schedule. The project manager, Brad, was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He explained his assessment and explained why. Since there was no insurance claim filed on this incident, I was required to put a 50% down payment. As soon as I made payment, his team was very quick to start with the sewage remediation. By Thursday the team was setting up the containment area (with zippers for me to pass through when needed) and started running the dehumidifiers and air filters. On Friday they started work and by the following Monday they finished the remediation. During the weekend someone even came by to check the moisture levels on the machines. The remediation team, Landon and Jesse, were fantastic with vacuuming everything during and after the cutting of drywall to minimize the spread of dust (an extra precaution since the contamination area was already sectioned off with the filter fans running to catch the dust). They made sure all the trash was properly bagged and that all work was documented through photos. They answered all my questions, tested areas that I had concerns about, and explained the process of spraying and steam cleaning. They were extremely professional and friendly and really helped calm me down during this high stress situation. I would not hesitate to use Servpro again! They are awesome! read more

We had water in our basement from the relay switch not working on our sump pump. the servpro team did a great job but forgot to open a closet door which we had been charged $85.00 to clean in the estimate. They graciously apologized and started the cleanup which took two days longer. Both account mangers Nelfa and Zack said we would not be charged as it wasn't our fault. (I even have emails to support this.). Jesse, mitigation cheif was also there. They were very helpful. Much to our surprise , our bill from Servpro was $1300.00 more than the estimate. When I asked for details for the extra charges to make sure we were not charged for the extra days, we were instead bullied and threatened, no explanation. Ronda said the additional charges were approved by the insurance company which wasn't true. We were not even asked to approve so why not. And if they are experts, the estimate should be close to the final billing unless we were charged extra. Sadly, if you have to bully and threaten, there is something terribly wrong with management. $85.00 if done correctly with the rest of basement compared to $1300.00. read more

My house caught fire MARCH 28th, 2022. It still isn't done. It sat for months with nobody there, project managers would quit, etc etc always an excuse and now here we are in DECEMBER, with a deadline of Dec 15th fast approaching, and my house will not be done. I was really looking forward to spending my birthday having dinner and making memories in my home again with my children (the 18th) but it's looking like I'll just be getting disappointment for my birthday instead. These people are crooks, they take your first insurance checks, thousands upon thousands to do their job and you literally have to hound them as to why a job isn't getting done, or why their contractor that SERVPRO IS STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR, is using the wrong paint (after telling said contractor what you want) or why an alcoholic is hanging you cupboards wrong or why there are holes in the wall that weren't there before not getting repaired!? Over half of the belongings they threw away are not on the contents list I provided. Servpro said they would be there for us to help get our home back and life back in order and instead I have been living this nightmare for almost 9 months! THIS COULD HAVE AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE MONTHS AGO AND NOW MY CHILDREN AND I HAVE RUN OUT OF FUNDS FOR THE ALOTTED AMOUNT FOR ALTERNATIVE HOUSING AND IT IS 100% WITHOUT A DOUBT SERVPRO'S FAULT THAT THIS HAS BEEN WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORST YEAR OF MY LIFE!!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They will most likely put you through the same nightmare they are putting me through. On December 15th if the home is not ready for me to move in I'll have to contact an attorney, they have really left me with no other options at this point and I absolutely hate that it has come to that. read more

If there was a 0 star option I would chose that as it is what this company deserves. Called last night after the flooding in Des Moines because we urgently needed help cleaning the floodwater from our basement. Was told that the guy on-call had just left to take care of the call before ours and would call us as soon as he was on his way. Never received a call from him or the company and when we tried to call back we did not get any answer at all. read more
