Even though I didn't need to be at home for the measurement (or the eventual installation), I was present for both. It was wonderful to meet Brian and learn about this local and family-owned business. He answered all of the questions I had about the covers (Will they keep out critters? Yes. Are they easy to clean? Definitely. Will they still allow at least a little air flow? You bet.) and quickly measured the window wells. I heard back that same day and received a price estimate and approximate installation date. The website is already transparent about pricing, so I knew I was getting the best deal. I was able to pay online and do everything from my computer to get the window well cover fabrication process started. Installation was super quick and, almost nine months later (and after serious rainstorms, snow, and temperatures anywhere between the negative 10s and high 90s), the covers look brand new. None of the neighborhood bunnies have gotten trapped, snow has stayed outside of the wells, and there hasn't been any moisture buildup leading to algae accumulation. Here is an update on the door from hell. We originally placed a 50% deposit on the door on June…read more16, it is now October 3. The door was delivered and installed Sept. 19 with a broken sidelight, which was replaced yesterday. Sept. 22 I emailed the project manager with a photo showing how I can slide a piece of paper between both sidelights and the door frame. I was assured the service technician could fix the gaps when he replaced the broken sidelight. Discussions with the service technician and manager revealed the door was improperly manufactured, causing the gaps. Also, the door frame was not square as evident by the differences in door clearances and rubbing. The solution they implemented was to caulk the door and install longer screws. When we purchased the door, we were told about how their quality control was much better than the factory. Also, we were told we'd receive a $250 gift card for the inconvenience, we received a $200 gift card. Nothing about this door has been the expected quality, correct, or professional. The door does not have the quality or integrity of a new door that was manufactured correctly from the start (which we paid full price for) and we have a damaged tree. I highly recommend avoiding this business. I will never buy anything from Liberty again.

The other local dealers are total losers, and would not even tell us which parts we needed for an re-install. Got some parts online, but then contacted Milgard, and got the name of "Complete Window Care" verbally from the rep, since apparently they could not do so, via official means. Complete got us parts, installed, and all locks and keys work just fine. We complained directly to a Milgard VP, about how crappy their other local dealers are, and were told that Milgard is looking into it. As slow as Milgard is, we doubt if anything will happen soon. We had much better service some years ago, when they had an actual rep in this area.
