My contractor ordered windows through them for the renovation of my home. Apparently payment from our contractor was not received in time so they put a LIEN on my house and did not even have the courtesy of contacting the contractor or myself! DO NOT USE!!!! This firm has great customer service. Clearview had installed a Millgard sliding glass patio door in our home 21 years ago. It works fine but was getting harder to move. I talked to Wes Jordan at Clearview and he walked me through how to remedy that. His method was simple and it worked. I had all the windows and 2 patio doors replace by Clearview Distributers. I purchased Milgard Tuscany windows and am very happy with the windows quality and Price, and they have an excellent warranty. The windows you select are only have of the equation, the quality of the install is just as important. I had Robert and Wesley install my bedroom and 2 patio doors last year and requested the same installers for the remaining 12 windows this March. They did an excellent job with both window and trim replacement. If you are thinking about window replacement checkout Clearview, the have multiple window manufacturers and were very reasonable on price. In addition I wholeheartedly recommend Robert and Wesley as your installers, even if you have to wait to get on their schedule. read more

I used Joe and the Clearview team for the second time to replace and upgrade a window. Both projects were great experiences from my first phone call through to delivery. I was provided many options then was coached through decisions based on value, cost, features, etc. to determine the best route for my purposes. Even though my jobs were small projects, I still got the dedicated service from Joe and team. I hired Clearview Distributors on the recommendation of a neighbor to replace the Oldach windows and doors in a 35 year old home. There is not enough room on the page here to itemize all of the problems. From mistakes in ordering the windows, to the number of flaws in the windows delivered because they had never been inspected at the factory or by the distributors, to the ineptitude (and filth) of the installation crew, to my having to go along behind the installers correcting the messes they created. Ultimately, after six months without satisfactory completion, I had to hire another company to complete the work. read more

Very disappointed. We finally have our doors and windows installed five months after they were ordered. A two day project turned into six over a three month period. We received one wrong size window and sliding glass door. It took three months to get the correct sized window because "they forgot to reorder it". That along with a damaged sash. They decided to force the sliding glass door into a space that was too small. Doing this caused a lot of damage to our drywall. The installer lied to us and said "they have a drywall guy and they will make sure the damage gets taken care of.". Come to find out, they didn't have anyone to fix it. Joe told us they would look for someone to fix it but we never heard anything. We ended up having to find someone to repair the drywall ourselves. The installer did good work however I didn't appreciate him talking on the phone for an hour and 1/2 while our front door was off in freezing temps. The project wouldn't have taken so long if miles the installer showed up before 10:30 everyday. My husband had to take extra time off work because the project took so long. read more

A total nightmare. I wanted fiberglass windows but had questions. I asked if they would be fully fiberglass. I was told yes they would be. I told them I didn't want plastic. I was told there was no plastic on the Marvin Essential fiberglass windows. In truth, the top of the sash is plastic. The returns are plastic. Only 3 sides of the sashes are fiberglass. They just lied to me to make a sale. Then after much badgering on my part, they said they would change them out to Milgard which was supposed to be fully fiberglass. I was shown a sketch of how the windows would look in my family room. The actual windows had a huge mull piece down the center that looked like a tree in front of each window. It was awful. In the sketch it was not shown that way at all. I was told it had to be made that way to support the weight of such big windows. There were other problems with them as well -- the patio door didn't fit right. It was like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. I said to just put the other ones back in. They acted all annoyed with me, but I would never have been in the situation if their sales person had been honest in the first place. Then the way they trimmed out the windows inside and out is just heartbreaking. Giant gaps, badly mitered corners, and worse. I paid for cedar for the exterior. Just found out from a carpenter hired to fix their mess that one window is trimmed in fir, and several other trim pieces on the other windows are also fir. They just took scrap from somewhere and pocketed the money that I paid for cedar. I've asked for the money back , and they just keep putting me off. There was so much more that was awful. They put in a shabby piece of wood above a door and the trim above that piece of wood. It looked ridiculous. I cried when I saw it. Later, after the change-out mess, and the door was re-installed, they found they didn't need to do that at all! Same installers, so it was like they were learning as they went along. I could go on with more, but what's the point. I hope I've said enough to save someone else from going through this. I'm stuck having to get the same windows for the other side of the house -- windows I would never have chosen if the Clearview salesman had been honest with me. But at least I will use a different company. I hope my review saves someone else from going through this. read more

They are supposed to be the MILGARD local rep, but they will NOT service Milgard sliding doors for parts, locks, nor repairs. Tried to get some lock-work from them, and some loser called back and said that they could not do any such work, with a really chippy attitude, like they were offended that we tried to get them to do anything. Would not tell who could, so we got contact for better repair company directly from Milgard. We were also able to get some parts directly online, which saved us a ton of money. read more

Stay clear of Clearview Distributors! My experience with them was horrible. They give no hint that they understand customer service or care about customer concerns. I ordered a new front door in March 2019 and did not get a satisfactory installation until April 2020, 13 months later! The first door was badly flawed, and I had to have them look at the door three times before anyone took any action. This took several weeks. I would call for someone to come out to look at the door, wait a week or so, and have to call again. Then when someone did come out and promised a course of action, I'd wait again for several weeks until I had to call them back to hear that someone else needed to see the problem. They did not measure the original door correctly, so the door they provided was not build correctly to fill the space left by the old door. The installation team had to add trim to cover the gap. Clearview promised an installation that would not require any finishing on my part, but failed to provide the correct indoor trim, again after multiple calls and many weeks to get them to act. They tried to deliver a replacement door that was also flawed, chipped and scratched. It was the third door that finally was OK. Their consistent dodge for my complaints was to blame the manufacturer, but the manufacturer was not who I bought the door from nor the ones whom I had to pester to pay attention to the deficiencies. read more

I had nothing but trouble with clearview, they cancelled the first two days because of weather, the problem is they don't tell You until your already home that day. the third day they never showed up, when I called they said they left a message, this is a message I never got. they finally showed up the next Monday and did half the job and found the windows were measured wrong, so they put in pieces of filler strips. the next they showed to do the rest of the windows and didn't have the proper tools and left. the next day they showed u and said it was to windy. the next day they didn't show up again when I called I was told the owner emailed me, this is and email I am still waiting for. when they showed again they said they don't have experience with the siding, I called and demanded they come back and the experienced installed showed and cut the siding. all this time I am missing work. A two day Job took two weeks. This is a very disorganized company. read more
