First, we had a nice backyard, but we had a yard that sloped to the house that never grew grass very well and always suffered with some drainage issues. Phil recommended and put in a paver potio that included great looking stones, firepit and pergola to give it character and style. I cannot say how much we love this patio. We cook down there with our grills/smokers, we have weekend fires in the fire pit for s'mores and cooking, and we love to just sit and relax as we hear the birds and watch the kids play on this transformed area. Second, we bought the house for the yard in the past for the trees and adventure, but our kids wanted grass to run/play. This is where Phil recommended putting in a retaining wall and leveling or backyard (with appropriate grade for drainage) to put a beautiful grass filled yard. This involved lots of prep, grading, tree removal and planning but the results are amazing. Phil not only put in zoysia grass and planned plants, replants, and beds all around my house, but had the new sprinkler systems put in to help water the investment. Phil also put grass all around the house and even put in yard lights (which I have always wanted) to shine on the house and tree canopy's which makes things look so great at night. Phil even helped me put in a tree swing between two trees since we had to take out a dying tree that we previously had a swing on. Third, and most importantly, Phil is great to work with... I am an engineer so I am detailed and I want to discuss things regularly. Phil ALWAYS had the time to talk, plan, and make sure that we were lock step in what we were doing with the yard and what the expectations were from both parties. Lastly, when the job is completed, Phil doesn't go away. He still welcomes calls to check on things, come look at the job and make sure things look right, and give advice on anything that his team has helped put in. When you invest in something that matters you want to give it to a person who is going to care about your investment as well and that is what Phil does. I have a high standard of how I want things to look when they are done at my house. Many times I do these things on my own because I can do it well. I have also learned to hire people who are qualified to do excellent work because I know I won't regret it for the years to come when I look at that investment over the years. Investing with Sarros Landscaping was a no brainer. We love our house, our yard, our new way of living, and I can't wait for the years to comes being out there and enjoying the outdoors.

That crew worked extremely hard in record heat from 9 to 6 every day. They worked fast - not sloppy fast, but efficient fast; like they have done this a thousand times before. And they left the job site clean and orderly every day. Our agreement was that IW would build the structure and I would procure the door and windows, which they would install. We had to wait a few weeks for the windows, but IW came back and finished the job as soon as the windows were available. We got quotes from several builders, and IW's price was in the middle, but they gave me the most confidence that they could actually do the job. And I liked that they did not ask for any money upfront, but rather pay 25% at 4 agreed-upon stages of progress. We had a good idea of what we wanted, and provided IW with some sketches and approximate dimensions, and they did the rest. When there were design choices to be made, they laid out the options and let us decide. They did NOT nickel and dime us with lots of billable change orders. Our project was slow to get started due to a snafu getting the building permit (which IW handled completely ) but once they got started, they made amazingly fast progress. I heartily recommend Innovative Woodworks - these guys are pros!

I hired an independent (smaller company) tree service before hiring DTS, and it was a nightmare! DTS was reffered to me by a family friend and I'm happy they were. We needed our backyard cleared for a new playground set for our kids. DTS is These 100% capable of handling big or small jobs. This company has all the right employees and equipment. All limb debris were chipped onsite and leftover large logs were neatly staged roadside for pick up, while all lose debris were hauled away in a dump truck! The crew shows up and waste no time getting right to it! We are so happy we hired them and will not hesitate contacting them again for future projects. I was outside speaking to the plumber and saw the Duncan truck driving by. We flagged him down, he gave us and estimate on the spot and was out the next day. The Maple was about 80 ft tall and close to the house. They cut it down with no damage to the property and cleaned everything up. Honestly, you would have never known they were there or the tree was there. They are amazing, professional, dependable and the pricing is fantastic. Since then, they have proceeded to leave patchy cuts, throughout our community. They only work in a team of 2 to cut an entire property and do the littlest amount of work they can do in order to go home. They run over newspapers and blow any grass shavings, trash, cigarette buds into your front yards, if not your driveways instead of picking up the trash and or blowing the grass in the woods.
