I sent a quote request which included multiple supporting documents and never heard back. On their website, they say quote requests are usually fulfilled in three days. After a week, I sent an "inquiry" to them, waited a couple of days, and still received no response. I sent a second inquiry, and still didn't hear back from them. After three weeks went by, I contacted their customer support line that I found on Better Business Bureau. The customer service rep told me the only person in the company that could talk to me about the status of my job was a guy who usually came in during the afternoons, but it was hit and miss whether he came in at all. She said she'd leave a message with him. I waited a couple days before calling back. The customer rep told me that the guy didn't come in the day she left the message, but she'd leave him another message. It's now been a month and I still haven't heard back from any Stylus Apparel representative about the status of my job.

My order was very specific and needed materials that aren't normally on hand. Newark Tees was able to get me everything I was asking for within 24 hours. Because previous issues with the online company, I was texting, emailing, and calling frequently in that period of time to make sure my order was the way I needed it. I was always contacted courteously, promptly, honestly (I wanted something specific, and instead of giving me promises that couldn't be kept they said they'd check their inventory and get back to me), and with empathy for my situation. The shirts I got were EXACTLY what I was asking for. I couldn't be more happy with the way they came out. I ordered several different colors of shirts and two different designs. The blue in the rainbow gets covered by the purple, and the arc in the rainbow got smooshed. I know I had a detailed design, which was my error, but I wish it could've looked more like the proof. Heads up for any newbies like me: it took about a week to get a digital design proof, and then another 4 days for it to be complete. Not complaining; just stating the timeline! Comms via email were very timely and I found them informative on the process of embroidery (stitches, colors, etc). Next time I won't choose such a complicated design, but I'm glad they were able to pull it off!

Purchased 3 shirts Get It While It's Hot, Rusty Anchor, Butter Queen via Etsy…read more Butter Queen (which by design had two blocks missing from the banner on butter queen and looked like a big mistake, my fault for not catching that) and Get it While Its Hot both had flaws in the printing. A blotch in the BQ and pretty noticeable crease in the Get While Shirts. I contacted the shop and this the response. 'We can do a reprint or a partial refund, but I would say to keep in mind that these are hand printed and not always 100% especially with printing on dark colors,' So pretty much a crap shoot if you order a dark t-shirt and want a proper product. That was on the 12th and since I needed them for an event,requested refund and yet to hear back. $60 for 3 shirts, two flawed. I'd never do business if you have to rely on lighter colors of fabric to get a correct product. pfff
