When I filed for services, Sears Appliance responded immediately with an appointment that was very timely - my oven control panel was going out. However, the appointment was soon rescheduled as a part needed to be ordered. The second appointment I stayed home (8-4) and no call, no show - I rescheduled. 3rd appointment good with notice of in transit (after I called to ask) but overall took about 3 weeks to fix oven. Aside from long time to fix - and the no-show, no-call appointment, I would've rated MUCH higher.

After waiting two and a half hours, I contacted them and was told an emergency job popped up. We agreed to reschedule. They didn't arrive for the second agreed upon time and after waiting fifteen minutes I contacted them and was told there were two jobs ahead of me and they would let me know the ETA. I never heard back from them. This company is not serious about their commitments. I am very disappointed I allowed myself to be taken advantage of more than once.

I would recommend clear and concise discussions about what you need done and writing it down. Dave and his wife are trying real hard to bring good service at a reasonable fee. This group get's a 4 and I'll tell you, as I work with him more, his rating will reflect his service capabilities. BE SPECIFIC when quoting jobs with Dave and take good notes.
