The Centsible team was able to squeeze me in on an emergency heating call to fix my heating. My unit was from 2005, so it was time to get replaced. Derek measured out my house to ensure proper unit sizing for my furnace, which is not something I saw in common amongst other, more reputable, businesses in the area. Cory and Ryan did an excellent job with the installation. They even assisted with some simple duct cleaning and installing some hangars for the vent in my hard-to-access crawlspace. They did their work extremely clean and left nothing behind! Austin was also an extremely cool dude that helped with a minor service call afterwards, turns out was just a noisy duct. Paid a fair price compared to similar quotes, but received excellent service that is worth every penny.

My super horrible immune system keeps our washing machine running all the time. Germs are everywhere and I just pick them up way too easily to play fast and loose with the cold and flu. We have an older top loading Whirlpool washing machine that I adore and it recently started getting sick. At first it would not wring our clothes and linens out completely, so I would need to run an additional one or two spin cycles. Then it started eating our very expensive sheets and towels. Our home warranty covers the repair cost of our machine, and they sent Nelson's Appliance and Rob in to fix the problem. After a quick look Rob explained to me that our machine needs a new transmission - washing machines have transmissions, who knew? We are now waiting on part costs and estimates. Nelson's Appliance was timely and helpful. They knew their washing machine stuff and helped me understand exactly what was going on and how it was going to be fixed in a timely manner. In the future I would be very comfortable using their services for non-home warranty covered issues if any other problems arise.

They inspected the job and discussed the scope of the project. A week later, I called for the bid. Stan got on the phone and said they weren't interested in bidding on the job. Said that they primarily handle commerical jobs. Whaat?? When I booked the appointment the woman asked if this was residential or commerical. She nor the guys that came out to look at the house never said that they don't do residential. I often wonder how businesses with poor customer service survive. I mean any professional SERVICE company that takes time to come and inspect a job submits a bid. My husband and I are both nice and professional people, so it's not like we offended them in anyway. They clearly are not interested in getting new business. I'd never recommend this company to anyone.
