The owner Andre is about as slow and mentally retarded just like his workmanship. The term sub par is actually a compliment in this case. He claims his experience and expertise is just cause for his actions yet the customer had to assist him in finding the leak! GREAT JOB doofus. 2nd, he took one hour and a half to find "Pepe and the gang" to help him install the water heater. But wait, i thought he was the expert, so why did it take so long to get you a "Pepe", huh??The installation took well over ,7hrs. On top of that, he was not thorough in his work and he charged me extra for a part that should have come with the initial installation. That night, I noticed the tub was still leaking and other complications aroused from the water heater installation. He returned the following day, installed another part, and he claimed the tub was fixed. FALSE...It was still leaking!! Gah damn sorry a**m***....I called another company, enough is enough. They came out, the installation was done improperly ,and it was not up to code. They fixed that as well as the leak from the tub.

The workers informed us that not only would we have to pay $400 for them to start digging at all, it would $189 for a service charge. We just needed an estimate, so we send them away, and they proceeded to charge us the $189 for doing absolutely ZERO work. The workers also told us that the receptionist was supposed to tell us the cost of the "service" that we scheduled over the phone, which she did not do. As far as I am concerned, she purposefully withheld information about this call so that this company could make money off of us for doing no work at all. The worst part is we regularly use Pikes, and we just spent about $1200 to have our sink fixed. If this is how they treat well paying REGULAR customers, I would hate to see how they treat new ones. I did a google search to find a company that had good ratings. I found Mr. Drippy Plumbing. Seemed like a good company. Promptness: The way Mr. Drippy works on the potential of needing a new hot water heater is them come to your residence to check your appliance. This is not my first rodeo on replacing Hot Water Heaters, A/C units, Appliances and more. I expected to get a time to visit in about a week. Instead, it was the next day. Add to that, they showed up on time. I was shocked. Be A Smart Consumer: I knew from the start, fixing my unit was going to be a segway to replacing it. That is way looking at my issue was not a charge. I also knew, once they saw the unit, the comparison pricing for fixing and new unit would be the sales presentation. Based on my location and needs, I researched the approximate pricing of the replacement, removal, parts and labor. My HOA has a rule to only use licensed and insured venders, or I would do what I used to do. Buy the unit, hire a non-licensed or insured vendor and same money. NOT THIS TIME. Who knows what can happen and the HOA would come back to me. Service Provided: I was presented the numbers and surprise, I selected to purchase a new unit. To my surprise, it was installed that same day. The installer was a true professional. The unit brand was American which is middle quality. The price was higher than what I expected however I paid a bit more because of the great communication I was given throughout the process. Sometimes, we have to give credit to a good company during this challenging times. Issue With the Installation: I live on the third floor with units on the second and first floors. It seems, when the water from my old water heater unit was disposed of, it made a leak in the pipes for the 1st floor unit. I was very upset at first. Then Mr. Drippy Sent in a manager, followed by a water repair company that same day. I called the day after to see what the situation was and the repair was in process. Throughout this situation, I communicated with all parties especially the HOA in great detail. I waited two weeks to write this review. It seems the issue is resolved. Conclusion: Hiring professionals that are licensed, insured and reviews mostly well makes a difference. Will you have to pay a little more, yes. It is worth it, yes. Would I do business with these folks again, yes. Simple as that.

Madden came out when they said, tore out the old fiberglass tub and surround, pointed out the new tub we bought was damaged before starting work so I had time to exchange it. Great! They installed the new tub, faucets, raised the shower head, and helped install the insulation on the outside wall. Great! Chris is a nice guy and easy to work with. They were not great at sweeping up after, and wiping out the tub but that isn't a big deal. I started cleaning up the bathroom today and discovered the hot water in the tub isn't working. So they are coming back out today to fix it. Great!

I called Madden's office and this nice lady said she could get someone out that afternoon. As promised, Chris showed up and after me explaining the history got his machine out and had my sink unclogged in less than a half hour. After hooking everything up he checked that everything was draining well, clean up the area and presented me with a bill that was less than the other people told me it would cost. From start to finish they were NOTHING but friendly and professional. Amber was the logistical rock star that got me set up with an appointment quickly. Jeff came and assessed the situation and he really listened to what I needed. He was also very frank about the state of my family members plumbing. He even identified an issue that I didn't realize she had been dealing with for years. (No wonder she was overwhelmed). Because of the deeper issues Jeff scheduled an additional visit to rank out the remaining repairs. Between the first and second visit, the water heater died.
