Where to begin? In December, my heater control unit in my Hyundai was broken. It's winter - - - in Michigan. It's cold. I called Bill Marsh Hyundai , had a pleasant exchange with their phone girl who assured me that in a couple of weeks the part would be in and made an appointment. So far, so good. The part went on back order and we got an appointment only much later. I arrived at the appointment with 15 minutes to spare. Upon getting there, I was told the part reverted to back order status and was not in. Mind you, they told me their truck arrives at seven in the morning. My appointment was at 11, and they called me after 930. Since it was an hour to the dealership,I had already left, unlike many people had my phone on do not disturb while I drove. They apologized profusely and offered me a used part. The heater control unit in my Hyundai has an evil reputation on the Internet for its high breakdown rate. I declined, and told them to call me when the part did come in and was physically in their possession. Fast forward to March. I've spent the entire winter freezing myself every time I needed to go out. I called the dealership, they tell me there's still no part in sight. I tell them the part has been available for months all over the Internet and question why they couldn't get one when non-dealers were able to. I am abrupt at this point. Five minutes later, the part is suddenly available and will arrive in two days. I tell them call me when it is actually there and schedule an appointment. They do, and things go off without a hitch. I'm disappointed, but decide bad things can happen every so often. I get a recall notice for my car at the beginning of April. I called them up and made an appointment for Friday afternoon at two. They tell me it will take an hour to an hour and 15 minutes for the car to be checked out. I'm fine with this, and make plans accordingly. I show up today, drop the car off, my two blue heelers in tow. We decide we'll walk the dogs while they work on the car. At 3:30, my wife happens to walk the dogs to the back of the dealership and sees our car parked out back. According to their own words, the car should be done. I'm excited. I go inside and ask about the car. They haven't even started. They tell me they only have one kit, and they're working on someone else's car. I ask how long it will be and the girl says that it takes two hours to do the test at least. Then she assures me that the car will be out at five. It's 3:30. Last time I checked that math didn't work. We took the car and walked out. The bottom line is that they're angry still because I got warranty work done on the car when the mileage was 1 mile below the warranty limit. I don't care...If you can't do your job honestly and with professionalism, you're not getting my business. I recommend avoiding this dealership. Came in for an oil change and service today. We purchased our Palisade from Bill Marsh in May of 2022, and have brought our Elantra here for years. Cannot say enough positive thing about every department at Bill Marsh. The sales team was awesome and helped us find the perfect vehicle for us during a tough time in the auto industry. I was travelling from California to Michigan for a golf trip when somewhere in Nebraska the rear hatch on my Santa Fe stopped working, meaning that I could not open up the rear hatch. I stopped at a Hyundai dealer in Illinois and they told me I would have to leave the car for a couple of days but they could shuttle me to a hotel. Nice dice. When I got to Traverse City on Friday I checked in at Bill Marsh Hyundai. I spoke with Brad Denoyer and he immediately assessed the problem. I was staying in Traverse City for the next week. I was given a loaner car and loaded my clubs and off I went. On Monday they called me and said that the part was on the way. On Tuesday they called and said the car was ready. I call that great service, they even washed my car so I was bug and butterfly free on the front grill. I wish my golf game was that easy. read more

This place has screwed me over and over again. I bought my car from there and it is ok but every time something goes wrong I get into trouble. My check engine light continued to go off so I had to take it in for safety. The first time I took it in they had it for about a week. I live in TC so the winters are terrible. I got a rental Hyundai while they worked on my car. It was a little two wheel drive car that is terrible in the snow and it drove me crazy because of how much I slipped. I finally got my car back and that night the engine light went off again. I took it back in and got another crappy car. I was so frustrated. After three or four days I went to get my car back. I had to get it during a work break so I was in a hurry. They had my car fixed but couldn't find my keys. I stood around for fifteen minutes waiting for them to find it. I almost drove off in the rental but they finally found my keys. You can get a car from this place but don't expect a quick easy fix on your car read more

Love our Sonata and the service department here is top notch! We purchased our Sonata new in 2014 and there have been a few little issues here and there but they have all been covered under warranty. It's nice to have that kind of peace of mind with a vehicle. read more

I think Bill Marsh does a very good job with selling cars. I like my Hyundai a lot, this is my second one. I will buy a third when the time comes. I did have an issue with getting money from the mpg lawsuit, it has been 2 years and they still have not called me even though I have called them repeatedly. I have not had major work done so cannot speak to that. They handled a recall nicely and took care of it quickly. Overall, a good experience. read more

I totally agree Bill Marsh is bad. I remember having a car serviced there and while I was in the waiting the dealership manger made big deal about me waiting. There was no customers buying cars. So I did see how me sitting there was a problem. I was there having my car worked on. It was because of a recall I was there. But numerous times I was asked if I wanted to be taken home while my car was being serviced. I said no because I was told by their mechanic that it wouldn't take long. But did I mention that they didn't ask their white customers if they needed to be taken home. Just seems strange that me being a black male, I was the one asked to be taken home. And the white customers were left alone to watch tv. I bought a truck from them years later. You would think I had learned my lesson, right? But no. The trucks fuel filter died five days later right when their five day return policy ended. I was stuck paying over $1000.00 to repair it. Belle Tire did the work on the truck and did a shady job fixing it, so stay away from there as well. I know I bought the truck as-is but you would think they would inspect their trade-ins better. But the best they could offer me was a reimbursement on the car battery. I told my wife we would NEVER buy from there again. And I would tell anyone I knew NEVER to go there. So do yourself a favor stay AWAY from Bill Marsh. read more
