Princess cake - (68 SEK = $6.81 USD) - A princess cake consists of a layer of green marzipan that is chewy and has a strong almond flavor. The one here is thinner than most places I have tried. Underneath it is some whipped cream, a vanilla sponge cake layered with custard and then a thin layer of raspberries. It tasted incredible and I really enjoyed it, especially how fresh all the ingredients were. Budapest pastry - (68 SEK = $6.81 USD) - This consisted of a hazelnut meringue with a very nutty taste. On the inside was a roll of pastry cream and strawberries. This was another great tasting pastry. Cappuccino - (54 SEK = $5.41 USD) - The cappuccino here is smooth and not bad. Overall Vette Katten is a must stop to try the Princess cake. I heard their cinnamon buns are good too, but didn't get a chance to try them.

I was stoked when I realized it was literally down the block from my AirBnb apartment. Although my travel buddy often wanted to meet up for breakfast, I made up many excuses everyday so that I could have some alone time at this cafe every morning before we met up. Additional perks that I have yet to mention: interesting people watching, adjacent to shopping @ Acne Archive [like omg, v exciting], free wifi, accessible outlets.

They didn't have chai latte, but they had chai tea (presumably in teabags). It looks as though matcha latte is more common than chai latte in Stockholm. I had a croissant on and a cheese and tomato sandwich. They were both very good. Overall, very smooth and pleasant experience. I saw a few customers with babies and/ or dogs, which should be a good indicator of how comfortable and welcoming this place is.

The space was brightly lit, fairly spacious, with comfortable seating, and an inviting atmosphere. I had this almond pastry covered with powdered sugar, along with a Hazelnut Latte. The Hazelnut Latte was prepared with care, and had a lovely design on top. However, it tasted more like a regular latte. There wasn't enough hazelnut in it. Stopped by another time during my trip, because they were the only bakery-like place still open (most close so early!) I saw they had the Hazelnut Roll, which they were out of last time, so of course I had to get it. The roll was huge, fluffy, flaky, with plenty of hazelnut and hazelnut spread. Mmm!
