Awesome cuppa Mr & I came to Fabrique while on our way to the ABBA museum & we ended up coming back almost every day we were in Stockholm Offering savory sandwiches and sweet treats alike, we indulged in Cinnamon & Cardamon Bulle ( rolls ) & they were soft & had the perfect amount of sweetness. Tables inside and outside to get out of the rain or enjoy the sun - out visit afforded us the opportunity to experience both & each seating arrangement was lovely Coffees were among the best we had on this vacation - perfectly creamy milk and the coffee ratio was just right - one size offered & there are 2 shots included but they are nice & strong Credit Card Only!

If you're looking for a super cute bakery to feature on Instagram, you've found your place. If you're looking for delicious pastries and coffee, you've hit the mediocre jackpot. Fabrique is conveniently located off the main street/shopping area of Stockholm. It opens quite early compared to all the other bakeries and restaurants in the area, so you'll be able to grab a quick pastry and coffee for breakfast. There is only seating for 5 people in the shop, so expect to grab your food/drink to-go. I wasn't super impressed with the cinnamon or cardamon bun. I wish they had a toaster or oven to warm the pastries.

While in Stockholm, we were on the hunt for the best cinnamon rolls we could find. This cafe was right next to our subway station Hornstull and we decided to give it a shot. It was by far the best we had! The mosaic tile inside was super cute, and the entire bakery smelled amazing. Our walnut cinnamon roll had the most delicious glaze. Wish we could've had more than one a day!

Love their cardamom fika. Chewy and doughy, with excellent flavor. I think it was around 29 SEK (3ish dollars) but made a perfect breakfast for my husband and me before we began a long day of walking.

Sourdough with raisins

This is a small chain throughout Stockholm with freshly baked sourdough bread. I went here twice while visiting and could recommend this place if you want a reliable snack. I enjoyed the sourdough with raisins, and the coffee wasn't memorable.

Loved the croissants from here. They have kanelbullar and many other pastries that are fresh daily.

This little shop is in a great location of Gamla Stan and has friendly staff that welcome you warmly. This is mostly a vegan spot, however some items did have cheese, so make sure you know what you're ordering. They also featured piroshkis and turnovers as well. If you're looking for a delicious place to experience Fika, this is one of the best cafés around Stockholm to do it!

Small and well-situated along one of many narrow streets in Old Town, an outside patio empty on arrival with only two young women inside chatting while a clerk who appeared Indian went about his business after a smiling "Hej," it was after browsing the small selection and asking a few questions answered in excellent English that four items were picked, a fifth added for free in the form of a white star. Taking items elsewhere to enjoy, the Bakery a bit warm given its small size and ovens, it was after pictures were snapped that the complimentary Kokos Blomma was tasted, the flavor of Coconut quickly flooding the mouth though the texture was chalky and unpleasant enough to discourage additional bites. Improving slightly henceforth, the Cinnamon Roll nicely flavored but expectedly dry considering its limitations in terms of ingredients, it was with intrigue that exceedingly moist Carrot Cake was tasted, the bitter Greens presumably Tops or perhaps Kale and the sweetness likely from Figs while a slice of Pie featuring Pears and Pecans was a highlight despite its soggy Crust. Lacking most of the traditional Pastries sampled elsewhere in town, a "Rawfoodbol" saved for last standing in for Sweden's ubiquitous Coconut-covered Chocolate Balls, it was not the Nuts so much as a the grainy Cocoa center that left all but one bite uneaten alongside at least 50% of everything else save for the Pie.
