To say I'm a little picky about my massage therapists is a bit of an understatement. When I moved…read moreto Brooklyn, I was so relieved when I found Cara Heerdt and I can't imagine going to anyone else on a regular basis. Cara is thoughtful and in-tune with whatever is going on with my body. I've probably had more than 100 massages in my lifetime and Cara is definitely one of the best. Things I love: - cupping massages - this isn't for everyone, but I've found this to be an effective treatment for me - effective treatments without pain - I used to think it was a good thing when I felt a little hurt after a massage, b/c it meant they really applied deep pressure. No, no, no. Cara has shown me that I can feel release in my muscles and it doesn't need to hurt. - caring and healing vibe - Cara is simply a wonderful human. You want to trust the person who is working on your body - and I trust her completely. She is attentive and checks in - even though I've gone to had more than 20+ appointments with her. She never assumes anything and ensures I'm comfortable throughout the treatment. Things to know: - atmosphere - If you want a luxe spa experience, this is not it. It's a relaxing experience, but it's more of a yoga studio/healing vibe. - online scheduling - you can schedule appointments online!

Though quite frankly, her services are worth the trip if you don't live close by. I must stress that this isn't a normal massage as Cara is completely in-tune with what your body needs and can adjust her technique to match what she reads from your body and your overall energy. I feel like I am floating on air after I leave a session with her and always have a much better state of mind. Cara is by far the best therapist I have ever been to and I can't wait for my next session!

They could not take us into the couples room as they booked a walk-in. He loved it and will definitely go back. i'm willing to give it another try, but with a different masseuse. They need to work on the time management a little better though.
