We arrived at Studio Elite right around 11:30 AM and there were 7 or 8 of us that were getting made up. The owner of the studio met us at the front door and ushered us in to one of the larger rooms in her salon, where she'd set out a spread of cinnamon buns, homemade chicken salad sandwiches, water and lemonade and other goodies for us to nibble on as we waited our turn. It was so nice. And the whole experience was a lot of fun - women just sitting around talking and gossiping about anything and everything as we took turns. When she got to my hair, I told her to do whatever she saw fit with it (it's naturally very curly), and so she tamed it in the front with a flat iron then pinned it up in the back with several hundred bobby pins making it into one of those artfully messy updos that are so stylish and impossible to recreate on your own. It looked sensational. The best part was that at the wedding that night I was one of the few whose hair had stayed where it was originally styled (many of my straight-haired friends had lost some of the volume and curl they'd had hours earlier). After reading many reviews, I made a list and started calling salons in the area. The receptionist at So Vain was friendly and well spoken(unlike other salons that made me feel rude for trying to make a last-minute appointment, life happens people). Upon arriving early, I instanstly loved the cool vibe and was greeted by smiling stylists. I only waited about 10 minuted before Brooklyn introduced herself and took me back to her chair. I showed her a couple pictures then without hesitation and confidence she mixed up the desired color and started highlighting. From arrival to departure, I was in the salon for an hour- which is perfect since I hate the typical 2-3 hours other stylists need. I cannot be any happier with my hair!!

Little did I know that they would bill my insurance for ALL kinds of test that I didn't approve, and my insurance company will not pay it. I went through 2 months of weekly shots and lost not 1 pound!!!!! I paid them over $400 for nothing. They won't try to fix the issue. There are notes all over the labs (Quest) information from where I have called and spoke with them and a note that says that the Grove called them but were supposed to call back and did not. This appears to be some sort of scam they are running here in Marshall County!

I have very curly hair and Christina treated it with the TLC it needed. She's even taken courses for curly hair and has great experience with it! She also uses Olaplex and Mizani products which are top tier my hair is soft, bouncy, shiny and just brilliant.
