Any place that regularly stocks Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon is entitled to five stars!…read more Nice atmosphere, too--also unexpected in a small shop, which are often dark and gloomy. Not so here. Very friendly staff that call out "hello" and "welcome" when you come in, asking if they can help in any way; so rare that I hope other people who walk in will implement the practice in their own places (when appropriate!). It's not the kind of prowling attack of some aggressive salespeople, which we've all wanted to run away from! This is a welcome change! Just tonight I've called to inquire about specially ordering a couple of things that smaller stores like this wouldn't typically have on hand, and I have every faith that they will contact me tomorrow to let me know the details.

I said to my self, I have a feeling that is gonna sit there and I will eventually come in and my only option will be to buy the 12 pack. Well, today was that day. How would I know if it was really that old 12 pack? I get home and have a beer and it has a unpleasant taste. I look at the born on date on bottom of the can and it is 5.5 months old! Sierra Nevada "Does beer expire" states "you can store most of our beers for up to 150 days, or roughly five months". See https://sierranevada.com/blog/our-beer/does-beer-expire. You can't see this date unless you rip open the box... Just one time but now I have 11 beers I am gonna dump out in addition to a WASTE of my time and a VERY disappointing evening. I guess you can't have a ton of options of you don't have enough customers to keep the beer fresh. I guess I will be going somewhere I feel the beer is getting turned over frequently enough which will be less convenient but my tongue will thank me.
