I usually go somewhere else but I was pressed for time. the water for your feet is luke warm. the hot stones were not hot. the massage was awful, never touched my feet. did not do anything to my cuticles. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I had the worst experience ever at this salon. My nails came out looking absolutely horrible. The polish does not even cover my whole nail, they look crusty, thick, and uneven. The technician told me I "needed a new set" when I had just gotten a new set, then proceeded to cut them so short that you can actually see my natural nail underneath. When I tried to speak up, he brushed me off and said, "Oh, you can just file it." On top of that, there was crust left around all of my nails, and they burned afterward, which has never happened to me before in all the years I've gotten my nails done. I am truly disgusted. When I complained at the front desk, I was told they could have the same technician "fix" them, but I made it clear that I did not want him touching my nails again. This is the same person who also did my pedicure and somehow made my big toe nail crooked, how is that even possible? I will never be returning here. Between the poor service, unprofessional attitude, and painful results, this was the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. read more

Guy in the shop overcharged me for a soak off. He didn't know what an overlay was. He started to give me a regular manicure and when I tried to correct him he said that's what I asked for. Which wasn't correct when he asked if I wanted a manicure I specifically said no. I left at with only having a soak off done and paid 28 dollars for it. I took my 5 year old daughter for her first mani/pedi. I hadn't had a pedicure in years and also wanted to try dip powder for the first time. We both had a great experience! She got to sit in a little pink chair and the lady who did hers was so sweet to her the entire time. The pedicure was great! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the young man who did my dip powder seemed a bit rushed and didn't clean up the skin around my nails before I left (on one hand it was nice we were out of there so quickly since I went during my lunch break), but after some scrubbing in the shower I was able to get it all off. Also, they were out of the one color I really wanted, but they had good backup options so i didn't mind that too much. There was also no massage or lotion with the dip powder. Pedicure was fine. No liners which grossed me out. The tools also didn't seem the cleanest. Was kind of afraid I'd leave with an infection. Probably the most painful ingrown extraction of my life. The atmosphere is nice, much bigger on the inside than I'd expect. The basic pedicure was $35 and didn't really include some of the standard treatments I've seen at other places. Went in to have dip powder removed from my nails due to an allergic reaction with the powder and activator at home. I wasn't sure if it would need to be taken off using the drill because acetone was not working at home. The dip powder ended up coming off in the bowl within 3 min (I only did one coat) and they charged me $15. I paid it and left a l tip but I feel that for being there for 5 min when it wasn't busy and only scratching my nails off onto a paper towel should have cost $5-10 tops. All this said, I've been there many times in the past and the price is set before the service, but when it's time to pay it goes up $15-20. I've had decent work done here, but my advice is agree to pricing ahead of time, or even pay ahead of time. They will try to get more money regardless of whether you're a good tipper. These days there is just to much competition to play these old games. read more

I have been going here for months since I moved her and normally have a pretty good experience. But lately staff has not been as friendly as usual and my last pedicure was a horrible and painful experience. The photos are what it looks like even 7 days later. The women took an actual chuck of skin off my foot with the callus scrubber because she wasn't paying attention. She just kept scrubbing the skin that is on the bone. She did not offer me a bandaid or anything to clean it with AND charged me the normal amount for the pedicure. I had to go on vacation with my foot in pain and 7 days later it is still painful and I have to worry about an infection since she just continued with the pedicure after and made me put it in the water after. She said sorry but I can't believe she charged me the full amount. I won't be coming back. read more

My tech was friendly and efficient. I showed him a design and he replicated it flawlessly. UPDATE: the tape on my nails peeled. It's been less than 10 hours. I barely want to go back and have them fix, I would rather spend my money somewhere else getting them re-done! These pictures are after not even 1 full day! The acrylic doesn't go down to my cuticle or to the sides of my nails (they look like they've been on a week) they are hardly shaped and way too wide. horrible service! paid 55 dollars for a new set and in a week a nail broke. I wear nails all the time and this never happens to me with other businesses. I go in to get it fixed and the lady who did my nails wasn't there so they were going to charge me. The lady at the front desk said if it had been one or two days they would cover it. however paying 55 for a full set (fresh nails) they should last at least 2 weeks!! so they give me someone to fix my nail, she puts it on and says is it crooked? I'm trying to look and can't tell she puts acrylic on and it's now obviously crooked. The nail tech then gets nasty with me when she's suppose to be the professional. she takes it off and then puts another nail on crooked. at the point I'm done arguing. they then can't find my color because even though I picked one of their colors when I got my full set apparently the tech used a personal color. Again, not my problem! The current tech tells me it's not her problem either and it will be 30.00 to change my color. I was treated so disrespectfuly as a customer. I came to get a pedicure with gel polish and my nails soaked off. The older lady came to take my gel polish off my feet but she kept hurting my feet like she didn't know how to take it off . I told her several times she was hurting me but she kept doing it . I asked her to stop and get someone else, she kept trying to take the polish off . I snatched my feet away, she grabbed them and started trying to take it off again. I said ma'am don't touch my feet , STOP! She said I take off , I said no! Get someone else! She then pushed my feet away and threw down her drill. Her and her co-worker started talking in their language. I told her , when someone tells you to stop you stop! She then pushed my feet again! I've been here twice now. After my first trip, I was not impressed. I'm glad I gave it a second chance. The first technician rushed through the service and I was in the chair and out again before everyone that was sitting around me (that had been seated before me) was done. I also tried to use the restroom on my first trip but the bathroom was dirty and someone had left "a deposit" that was unflushable. My friend came to town for a visit and I knew they had a ton of chairs so we probably wouldn't have to wait long so I tried again. We only had to wait about 5 minutes for us to be seated together. The bathroom was clean this time. My technician was Ann and she was fantastic. She went above and beyond to make sure my pedicure was thorough and precise. My tootsies have never looked so refreshed! I will definitely be making appointments with her from now on. The basic pedicure is $28 but I upgraded to the Lavender Spa Pedicure. At $35 I feel it's worth the extra money. You get a lavender scrub, hot towel wrap, and a hot stone leg massage. I'm sure there are other wonderful technicians at Serenity. If you aren't willing to take a chance then ask for Ann and treat yourself to a lavender spa pedi. read more

In the midst of me getting my acrylic nails removed I observed the young front desk girl and my first nail tech speaking about me through the plexi glass screens, the front desk girl def called me an a**hole because while being seated I asked her why customers who arrived after me were seated before me! I've tried out a few salons in the area which left a lot to be desired but so far this one is the best. It's decorated better than most salons in the area and prices are fair. They also offer a reward card for being a frequent customer. After 10 services they will give you $10 off of your total. I had him take the color off my ring finger and polish it the same as my other fingers. He did n't offer to get the rings and let me pick a Color that matched.
