Simply outstanding service by a staff of genuine, down-to-earth, caring people. Look - I know (in…read morefact, I hope), that the people who run this family-owned business are rolling in dough. They deserve it. I went to two other funeral homes in the area, and while both were perfectly pleasant and nice, it was Zac Clayton and his staff (everyone from the guy giving directions to the pallbearers, making sure everyone had buttonnieres, etc., to the young lady giving instructions to the cemetery workers (South Park Cemetery)) who a) never made us feel like we were pressured into 'buying up' to a 'better' model of casket or container; b) were totally - TOTALLY - transparent about prices and fees; c) took care to ensure that EVERY necessary detail was addressed (flowers, prayer cards, finding a priest who could perform a service at the funeral home when there was a schedule conflict with the church, etc.) either by Clayton or by the family; d) had pricing that was more than fair on the services and items needed for the burial; and e) were just all-around super nice, comforting, helpful, and made you feel like they were helping out family and friends that they had known for years. Honestly, do yourself a favor, shop around if you want to, but GO to these guys and give them a listen. You will be SO GLAD afterwards that you did. BTW - everything about the service was lovely - the flowers (done in house by Clayton), the service by our borrowed priest (thank you Father Jim!), the slideshow of photos and music (photos / music supplied by family, edited into presentation by Clayton and displayed flawlessly by the Clayton folks on their big screen using their a/v equipment. Cannot thank or recommend these guys enough. Thank you Clayton (and especially Zac) for all you did for our mother and our family.

LaRitta took my call and was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate throughout the entire process. From our first conversation, she never made me feel like I was simply conducting a business transaction, as I had experienced with another establishment. While she was understandably hesitant to discuss pricing over the phone, her focus was clearly on helping our family and caring for our loved one. There was never any pressure--only gentle guidance during a very difficult time. I was on the phone with her for nearly 20 minutes before recommending her funeral home to my family, and I am so grateful that I did. We met with LaRitta and her husband the following day, and I was immediately impressed. The facility is beautiful, welcoming, and uplifting--not dark and dreary like many funeral homes can feel. Her attention to detail was exceptional. She thoughtfully walked us through all of the memorial service options, and both she and her staff were professional, caring, and highly organized. As someone coordinating arrangements from out of state, I especially appreciated her prompt and consistent communication by email. The online memorial platform was another wonderful resource. It allowed family and friends to share memories, photos, and messages, making it much easier to collaborate on the obituary and honor our loved one's life. I cannot say enough positive things about Prestige Undertaking. The facility is clean, spacious, and very well maintained. We had access to the main room, and LaRitta generously included a second room that served perfectly as a reception area for light refreshments and gathering with guests. If you are facing the difficult task of planning services for a loved one, I highly recommend reaching out to LaRitta and her team. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication made an incredibly challenging time more manageable, and I am deeply grateful for the care they provided.

More than a year after our wedding, we continue to receive kind words and requests for wedding…read moreadvice/ reviews from friends and acquaintances. We hope our review here is helpful to you as well. The presence of fresh flowers at our wedding really added to the day, and we are glad we had them. We worked with Erin Reed at Floral Events for numerous bouquets and table centerpieces for our wedding ceremony and reception. She was kind, helpful and efficient in the initial stages of designing everything despite covid issues that kept popping up. She also spent time with us to talk through details of our order and to show us a demo of the bouquets. Erin was even able to incorporate some heirloom items into the bridal bouquet. That bouquet was absolutely lovely and just outstanding. The flowers were much more yellow than we had requested, but it was still nice. She prepared the heirloom items by hand and ensured they looked elegant with the flowers in the bridal bouquet, which meant a lot to us. The other bouquets and centerpieces, however, arrived on the day of the wedding with mixed, disappointing results. A couple were lovely but the majority had clearly been hastily put together and not in the form we had agreed upon in our contract and invoice. For example, vases were used for bouquets where we had asked for them to be wrapped in paper and vice versa. Many of the flowers were dyed in an odd color we had not requested. They also looked nothing like the demo bouquets, which was disappointing and confusing since the bridal bouquet was so exceptional. None of this ruined our wedding day, but we have not hired Floral Events for other milestones we have had since working with them. We have avoided hiring them again as quality control seems to be an issue for them internally.
