I chose to see someone else there once or twice because Carissa is booked up a lot but nobody compares! She is magical and my back knots are gone. I went in for my massage appointment the other day feeling great. No knots left and it was just relaxing. I love how I can have conversation with her and she's so relatable and easy to talk to but when I am super stressed, I can just be silent and she's cool with that too. I signed up for the membership only because of Carissa's incredible skills!

But, I just had my first massage (90mins) at this location, and all I have to say is "Wow!" and I mean that in a good way! I have been a member of ME for @ 10 years now and have been to quite a few different locations, but this one puts them all to shame!!! Great staff - from the front desk staff, to the massage therapist (Jonathan is fabulous), to one of the co-owners (Susan) who make you feel comfortable (almost like family), great atmosphere - from the relaxation room with the delicious flavored/detox water, to the perfectly lit, comfortablly temperatured rooms & massage tables, and even the bathrooms!!! And most importantly a great massage! I am very much looking forward to my monthly massages here! Thank you, ME North Reading!!

Not that I'm complaining about those, but Lisa puts them in perspective because she takes it to another level of... what's the word... healing? She has an amazing sense for where I hold tension. I thought massage was all about getting the knots out in my back/shoulders, but like I said, Lisa does so much more. She's also amazingly understanding (I had to cancel with 2 hours notice due to getting stung by 4 yellow jackets and she didn't charge me because she understands that life happens). If you are looking for a long-term relationship with a fantastic masseuse, I HIGHLY recommend Lisa!

The other reviewers are right-- the place is clean, soothing, and also spacious (not all massage rooms are)... And I really appreciated Mary Kate checking in with me throughout the service to make sure I was warm enough, that the stones weren't too hot, that I'd like aromatherapy, etc. Plus, she was generous with her time. We were late getting started, and she added time to the end of my massage, so that it was a full hour. I know that's not always possible, but it was kind. I felt attended to, respected, and cared for. I highly recommend getting a massage here... Especially if you've never had one before. You will be well taken care of.
