Guess they didn't take me serious about asking for the same level of stylist. I didn't ask for someone cheap. The haircut I received was NOTHING like the initial photo grouping that I had asked for. She took over a foot off of the back of my head and now it feels like I have a bald area in the back. I can't get it fixed because the top layers are so short they almost touch the top of my ears. Mind you my hair was past my cleavage. The sides don't match in length or thickness. It looks like I have the Kate plus eight haircut with a mullet length attached on the bottom. Almost like the jellyfish hair. If don't style my hair at all and it looks like shit. I even mentioned that I air dry and I like having my hair up. I can't have all of my hair up anymore. I can't air dry anymore. I wish I had never even saw this place. I can't even fix it for at least few months now and I'm supposed to get married in less than a year....

I recently got a QiQi hair straightening treatment here and the day before I had a root…read moretouch-up/color done with jet black. Before I left the salon, I noticed my hair turned reddish brown at the places the color had been applied and I didn't know there could be a reaction b/c I hadn't done QiQi before (only keratin and they recommend having a couple weeks in between color and keratin). The stylist actually did a nice job with the QiQi and I was pleased with the results, but she said she didn't know either that there could be a color reaction. I was gonna let it go thinking it's not the end of the world but she offered to re-do my color back to black for no extra charge and would contact me to schedule a time in the next 1-2 weeks. We messaged back and forth a couple of times and I even left a message for the salon with no follow-up or call back. Finally, I ended up going back to my other hair salon and paying another $100 to have my roots touched up so needless to say I was pretty frustrated. Like I said, my stylist was nice and I was pleased with the QiQi treatment but the communication that followed was discouraging from both her and the salon to try and find a reasonable solution. I hate leaving negative reviews but I tried to resolve this by phone but got no response.

Stay Away from Jungle Red AND Meredith (an employee there)…read more Photos here of Meredith (so you can identify her) and before/after pics of my hair. The pics are not in order so please see the titles at the bottom of each pic indicating before, after... And of course, there's one of Meredith.. I'd been a loyal client at Jungle Red for years. That ended the day Meredith--a so-called "Top Tier Stylist"--butchered my hair beyond repair. After 1.5 years of growing it out, I asked for a light trim. Instead, she razored through my hair from every angle. I couldn't see the back until it was too late. My hair was left shredded, uneven, and destroyed. Even Meredith looked shocked by how much she'd cut off. When I returned, her only response was, "Aww, I'm sorry you don't like your cut." That's not an apology--that's condescension. The owner, Lisa Travis, refunded the cut but refused to take any real responsibility. I asked if they'd help cover the cost of corrective work--she smugly declined, claiming extensions "weren't possible." She was wrong. Other stylists proved it could be done and temporarily fixed what Jungle Red ruined. Their "top-tier" ranking system is a joke. Meredith lacks skill and judgment, and Lisa Travis clearly doesn't value her clients enough to make things right. It's been 10 MONTHS, and my hair still hasn't recovered. I'm posting photos so you can see the damage for yourself. Do not trust this salon. They do not stand behind their work.
