Eastside was straight forward with their pricing and were very responsive during the estimation process. I explained to Drew that they would be remodeling the bathroom with our only shower, and he was sure to squeeze us in in order to expedite the process. Overall the project was well managed - because we were out our shower, Drew was focused on getting us a shower as quick as possible, something my wife certainly appreciated! The team, including all of the sub-contractors that Drew brought in were skilled at their job and friendly. The bathroom looks great - it is honestly the nicest looking room in our house now. I don't know how or why he came to that conclusion in our brief phone conversation, but I told him I wasn't looking for the "cheapest", I was looking for the best solution. He scheduled a visit and did some measurements and we discussed possible options. I also let him know I was interested in kitchen redesign so that I could have a bigger fridge but he didn't seem interested and just went back to the powder room. When he was done, he said it would take about two weeks for a quote but I may need to reach out to him again. I asked if he had a card and he said no, then left. That was on June 11 and now it's July 28. If a business wants my business, they would send a quote. Maybe my little job isn't worth their time because business is booming, who knows. When your gut tells you they aren't interested, listen to your gut.

I was immediately struck by his amiable, positive energy and thoughtful attention to detail. My sizable backyard was long overdue for a makeover. An ugly chain link fence bordered my property on the street side, the yard had been left pretty much unattended by the previous owner to the point that it had become overrun by a tangled jungle of out of control shrubbery, weeds, and bluebells. Not to mention the old and cracked concrete patio that was in need of replacing. From the outset, I came away super impressed by Adam's thoroughness, communication skills, and professionalism. It's clear that he's got a perfectionist's eye--which I've learned is what you absolutely want from a contractor. His estimate was itemized and detailed, giving me a clear and accurate description of the scope of the work to be done. He also left drywall mud all over the front door which was newly painted very recently. New kitchen island had to be moved as it was non ADA compliant, and his electrical installation of kitchen lights left potential for extremely dangerous shocks. Again, RUN!
