I felt a little special to be in the cafe and seeing her with her family. Happy Birthday to Claudine & Congrats on the opening of her new location! Back again today. It's my birthday today! Haha. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. We love everything we have tried and not a long wait whenever I've been to Needmore Coffee - even at the original location (Needmore Road). This location is farther than my home, but worth the extra few minutes drive for that feeling as if I'm going to a friend's house for coffee & chat. My kiddo loves looking at the shop turtle and the lizard that makes our visits fun (for him) versus just sitting next to me. lol Great place to meet up for coffee & snack or quick meal. More tables and padded seating available including the cute bistro table set and comfy upholstered chairs by the window. The wall decor is simple yet ties in the purple and yellow motif. The prices were great and the owner is so friendly! She was so sweet and really made my day. The store is super clean, beautifully decorated and nice and quiet. They are a veteran-owned business in a military town. Nice to see the support from the community. I stopped in expecting to try some ice cream, but when I asked about samples, the interaction became unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable. A small serving was around $7, and several of the flavors/items we were interested in were already sold out. Rather than feeling welcomed or having someone help us find an alternative, I felt like I was being treated poorly for simply asking questions before spending that much money. We ultimately left without purchasing anything. I also noticed that despite being veteran-owned, there was no military discount. I don't believe every veteran-owned business is obligated to offer one, but it would have been nice to know whether any military discount was available. Unfortunately, the way we were treated was enough that I won't be returning. I'm leaving this review based solely on my own experience so other customers can make an informed decision.

My friends and I ordered french toast bagels with brown sugar and cinnamon cream cheese and the breakfast burrito. I had bites of both and I'd 100% order them again. If I had to do it differently, I would get the cream cheese on the side instead of on the bagel. It was a bit messy, but still delicious. I can't speak for everyone else's drinks, but I got an iced crumb cake, a seasonal drink, and it hit the spot. A local gem! We will be back.
