The atmosphere is so welcoming, and I always find myself completely immersed in their amazing selection of books. I'm always there for at least an hour. The prices couldn't be better, seriously better prices than Amazon so buy local! They will special order you a book if it's not there! Whats always really stood out to me, though, is the excellent customer service. I spent over an hour browsing, and I could have easily spent all my birthday money there! A lovely blonde woman in a pink floral dress and glasses helped me with great recommendations for Romantasy and SciFi books, and I must say, she was such a delight. We had the best conversation about our favorite reads, and her recommendations were spot on! I know I went home with at least 1 of her suggestions that I absolutely can't wait to dive into and I'm already planning my return trip this Friday to grab some more- I just can't resist! I genuinely believe the sweet lady who assisted me deserves a raise; her passion for books and caring demeanor made my visit unforgettable! I came in on my birthday, and it turned out to be the best part of my day-- and I was already having an excellent day! This place is a must-visit for any book lover. I can't recommend it enough! ‍‍‍

My mom, who we lost in September of 2019, used to come here all the time. I was here today, and she still remembered her. She had such nice things to say about her. As other people have said, it doesn't look that big on the outside, but it is huge on the inside. If you can't find what you are looking for, you are probably not looking hard enough. They have new and used books, fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks, travel, rare and out of print books,, a very large children's room, and the list goes on and on. The prices are more than fair.... They also buy used books at a fair rate for store credit . If you don't find what you need this time, they will roll your credit over until the next time you come in. It's really cool that they do that. Once you buy your book, take it across the street to Los Bagels, And you can grab a nice snack while you peruse your purchase. The store is in a wooden structure that looks like it should hold power tools, but never judge a book by its cover (or a game). We have bought several birthday and Christmas gifts here and the staff are some of the most knowledgeable about board games of varying types. We have also been introduced to new games here, and the prices are competitive with other game stores across the country.
