Show up for my appointment and am told I have an outstanding bill. I called them every month to tell them to refile my bill to my Medicare. My husband had been laid off and all I had was my Medicare. I had no idea I had to call Social Security to let them know that I no longer had other insurance. So I got that fixed but they never rebilled my Medicare. Now they want me to pay a bill I called them every month and told them to rebill my Medicare. They said I had to pay it to be seen. I told them I was not paying a bill that Medicare would have paid at 100% and essentially one that was their fault it didn't get paid. Now I'm in a lot of pain and trying to find another podiatrist I can see now! I know I need a large bone spur removed that has my toe twisted. He will continue to lose patients is his billing department fails to do their job!

Donna Waugh 4 reviews…read more I see Dr. Ardoin at OrthoArkansas for an injured foot. I have been extremely confident in the care he provides. He quickly and completely resolved some of the issues. He's greatly helped the problem that will be having surgery for a total repair. I like him. I trust him. I feel like we're a team for my care and we have a plan for my surgery. I was referred by another specialist who highly respects Dr. Ardoin. I knew he had to be good. But, it always speaks volumes when I discuss Dr. Ardoin's plan of care with my family full of doctors and post-doc medical researchers. EVERY ONE OF THEM says, "That's a very smart guy. I'd let him operate on my foot with no hesitation!" Enough said. He's great

I made an appointment with OrthoArkansas on Tuesday for an MRI Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. When…read moreI scheduled it, I specifically asked for the address because I needed to know where I was going. I was told, "Don't worry about it, you'll get a text." Well, I never got that text. The only message I received was about my follow-up appointment. By the time I realized Tuesday evening that I still had no idea where my 7 a.m. MRI was, it was after 5 p.m. I called, but everything was closed and Ortho Urgent Care wasn't answering their phone. I had already left work and driven home, but ended up getting back in my car and driving to an Ortho Urgent Care location just so someone could tell me where I was supposed to go the next morning. Maybe if someone had answered the phone, I wouldn't have had to spend my evening driving around town trying to find out where my own appointment was. When I got there, the woman I spoke with acted like it was a huge inconvenience for me to ask for the information about my own appointment. I wasn't asking for anything complicated--I literally just needed to know where I was supposed to show up at 7 a.m. because the information I was told would be sent to me never was. I finally get home, set my alarm for 6:15 a.m., and go to bed. When I woke up at 6:15 a.m., I discovered they had sent me a text at 5:30 a.m. saying I needed to arrive 30 minutes before my 7 a.m. appointment. Apparently I was supposed to receive this rather important information while I was asleep. So now I'm rushing. I get to the address, realize it doesn't look like the location I had seen online, call, and discover GPS has taken me to the wrong place. I finally make it to the correct location, already stressed from this entire scavenger hunt, only to be greeted with more attitude at the front desk. I was handed paperwork on a clipboard. My hands were already full with my wallet, keys, sunglasses, and phone. The receptionist told me to take the paper but give her back the clipboard and pen. I set the clipboard and pen on the desk, and she stood there with her hand raised, apparently expecting me to physically hand them to her. At that point, I couldn't help thinking: Wouldn't it have been easier to just take the clipboard, pen, and paper, remove the paper yourself, and hand it back to me? Or just let me hand you the clipboard when I was done? Minus the attitude. The MRI itself wasn't the problem. The communication and customer service leading up to it were unnecessarily frustrating. If you schedule someone for a 7 a.m. appointment, they should not have to drive around town the night before trying to figure out where they're supposed to go, be made to feel like an inconvenience for asking, and then receive important arrival instructions at 5:30 a.m. the morning of the appointment. A little clear communication--and a little kindness--would have made this an entirely different experience.

My…read morePCP referred me to Dr. James Howell of Conway Ortho for my hand and I had the first experience with a Conway Reg. Provider this morning, and most likely my last. I went to see him for guidance for my hand issues to try to avoid surgery as long as possible as I work from home so I am on a computer all day so I need my hands. He took a look at my hand and asked me if I can lay my hand flat on the table. I said yes, but my concern was I don't want to wait until I need surgery and that I would like to know if there is anything I can do like therapy to help. All he said was "There is nothing you can do. Come back and see me when you can't lay your hand flat on a table and we will do surgery." In other words, I was wasting his time with the little stuff and the big money is in the surgeries. He was definitely not concerned about the fact that I need my hands for my job. Needless to say, I left a vm for my PCP for other options and letting her know about my experience.

How long do you want off? Two weeks enough?" Needless to say I left angry! Anyone that knows me knows I Love to work hard and diligently and make a difference! I wasn't there for time off work but rather to get treatment and get back to work! So I did what he said! I started walking on it, exercising it and moving it thinking it would get better! It got worse! In a hurry! Yesterday Dr Pruitt at Arkansas Ortho (my second opinion) did a complete physical assessment of my knee and replied "Im going to put it in an immobilizer to keep it straight because its not stable enough for you to walk on! The inflammation is a concern so I'm going to give you Meloxicam to get it under control! I think you have significant ligament tears and an injured meniscus so we will do an MRI to confirm that!" He then gave me crutches and requested to walk only when having too but with the immobilizer! Conway Ortho was unprofessional, negligent and inconsiderate in thinking I was like most and just looking for time off work! I do not recommend them to anyone seeking medical treatment! Dr Pruitt at Arkansas Ortho was very thorough in his exam, knowledgeable, considerate, caring and helpful! He listened to my testimony as I witnessed and interacted directly with me as well! Just in case anyone reading is needing an Ortho clinic! I gave Conway Ortho one star because I had to in this review otherwise I would have left it blank

Every week seemed to go perfect until her 1st treatment here at this location. When I picked her up she was very upset and explained how horribly she was treated by one of the nurses (Brittany). I told her to speak with Dr. Roman at her next appointment with him and inform him of what happened. She did exactly that and her last appointment was wonderful and a nurse named Liz took phenomenal care of her. Nurses are so vital right now and those RN's who choose to be unprofessional and rude to their patients only do a disservice to the profession. The rest of the staff have been great as well and very helpful. I even stopped by their cafeteria while I waited and had breakfast which didn't disappoint. Thank you to Dr. Roman for taking such great care of your patients and seeing to it they have the best nurses to care for them. I don't know who this Brittany lady is but she clearly has no business being a nurse and at best belongs in a urgent care facility taking urine samples for drug screens.
