FIRST Review: My wife and I have been looking for a new…read morerottweiler puppy for several years now (our 3 year old rottie died a few years ago). We are very experienced dog owners and consider ourselves to be well informed and responsible. We take training seriously and we care about our pets. We research everything and my wife was ready to look. We started at another "breeder's" house - the puppies were fine, but you could see signs of neglect. The sire & dam were overly aggressive, unapproachable, and even the owner admitted to having to take special precautions in their home with their own dogs! We left in a hurry. My wife contacted Hector (owner) for an unannounced visit to his kennel, which he maintains at his house. WOW. The front of his home is well manicured and very clean. Hector greeted us with his son in tow and directed us to the garage where the current litter was housed. WOW. Immaculate. The dam and her litter were kept in a very clean, well ventilated kennel with a specialized whelping box outfitted with a heat lamp and nice flooring. Hector let out the dam to greet us and she was very well tempered, calm, and friendly. After oohing and awwing for a time, Hector led us outside to the remaining kennel housing. WOW. exceptionally well kept, clean, orderly, and well thought out. He had 4 dogs on the exterior; 2 juveniles, 1 adult male, and 1 expectant female - each in their own kennel. Each dog was well behaved, calm, confident, and friendly. The pregnant female was let out to greet us and we were informed that her litter was expected in 1 week. She was well built, with broad shoulders, a large head, and a confident gait. Her eyes were dark, her short-haired coat had well balanced coloring, and she had an undocked tail (German standard). She was unbelievable. We took my 4 year old nephew to see the puppies and as most young boys are, he was a little rough with the dogs. The dams were patient with him and never reacted negatively, wary, timid, or aggressive. They were ideal. We selected the litter from the expectant female - due next week. WOW. Hector was very friendly, well informed, and accommodating. He spent an inordinate amount of time with us for an unannounced visit. He answered all of our questions honestly and volunteered information to help inform us on issues we hadn't raised. I have always had rottweilers with docked tails, and I expected this time to be no different. Hector discussed at length with me, the pros and cons, without judgement, and provided me with my options. Still thinking about it...We never felt rushed or made to feel like he had other pressing matters, even though we knew he did. Why did I write First Review? Because we still have several months of interaction remaining before we pick up our puppy and anything can happen. By the nature of our initial interaction, I expect nothing negative to occur and I am confident that we will have a positive experience throughout. I will however, update this review as each stage progresses.

I purchased my male rottweiler in September 2016 Hector keeps his kennel clean very informative…read moreabout the breed and his dogs. If your looking for a rottweiler this is the place. Great looking dogs mahogany color with real dark eyes. My male pup at 5 months 2 weeks 70 lbs.
